They did not understand her words. "His Imperial Majesty does not like when someone dare to mess with his family members including me. So what is the use of you begging mercy from me, Lady Layla Rae?" Ria smirked. 

But no one could see it. Since they were lowering their heads, they could not see what the young woman's expression was. It was a lie when Ria spoke the Emperor would prison Layla Rae for messing with his family members. It did not include the young woman obviously.

Asteria was just simply telling that she was not being ignored by the Emperor Wilbur Zale anymore. Even though the Emperor did not show, she could tell that he was eyeing on her everyday to see what her aim was.

All Ria had to do was make the man think for awhile to pass the throne to her even for a second. Because she was the only person who was left in line since Ria was going to make her elder sisters bite each other till the death.
