章節 55: Influencing Media
It was a week after the recent bill was passed and I was looking at the gains we got from this action.
'Hammer will likely be absorbed a few months earlier than expected. Stark Industries took a hit from the bill passing as the US is buying far less and many troops are being pulled out of foreign theaters or are not advancing. LexCorp is now the biggest seller to the US Government in multiple ways.
I was working on a new AI as we had just confirmed the purchase of YouTube thanks to my involvement. I wanted to create a non-sentient AI whose primary directive would be monitoring any social media platforms we own. Their goal would be to prevent any dangerous media from being posted and further to find and track any malicious actors. The idea is it would filter bad content and make the platforms safer for everyone while also working with law enforcement to arrest those guilty of said actions.
'I will need to draft a bill to have one of the Senators propose so people doing dangerous or malicious things online can be punished. It should be easy to get support as all the old people in Congress and the Senate are clueless when it comes to this kind of law so we can just hide things they wouldn't understand in the law.'
The AI I am working on has a basis on the Forgotten Guardian combat AIs as I could use them as a basis and save lots of time. They were designed to control ships to defeat an enemy. I am just changing what an enemy is classified as and how they should respond to it. My hope is this AI reduces the false positives and reduces the amount of employees needed.
'Of course, that assumes I can make an AI at my current level which I think I can. Especially if it is not sentient. I can work on this for only another 2 hours before my meeting with Mal0. Let's see how far I can get.'
2 Hours Later...
I was sitting in the living room waiting for Mal0 to deliver the current intelligence report.
Mal0: "Here is what Renamon and I have found so far. The key points I want you to focus on are the large influx of criminals in New York and the Chaste."
I look at the files she is talking about and I am confused as to why the Chaste seems to be teaming up with Kingpin. I also can't fathom why so many criminals are fleeing to New York the probable home base of Team Rocket. Then I see Kingpin has basically offered sanctuary to criminals fleeing Team Rocket. It seems he is not giving up on attacking Team Rocket in Hell's Kitchen. The next thing I see is Renamons report on Vampire movements.
'40k Vampires gathering in Norway for some kind of grand summit of the Vampire world. I guess they think that such large numbers will save them. The summit begins in 2 weeks and the estimated percentage of Vampire from across the world that will show up is 90-97%. I can't let this opportunity slip away. If I can pull off a purge here then less than 100 Vampires would be left. Assuming I include the Vampires I have already killed. However, the biggest obstacle would be trapping the Vampires so they don't just flee. Orochimaru should be able to help with that. I think the technique was called the Four Violet Flames Formation. I doubt the Vampires could escape that.'
I look at the possible members of the summit and I stop when I see one of the most powerful Vampires to exist, Dracula. I decide to observe him for a while to see what he looks like and any weaknesses. I look at the reports and see Kingpin doesn't have immediate plans to attack Hell's Kitchen but he's gathering a massive amount of weapons. Hydra seems to be running some basic interference to stop anyone from noticing Kingpin's movements. Hydra has also been doing strange movements lately. We haven't found out why they are doing what they are doing just that they have lost around 70 agents doing it.
'What are they doing? Whatever it is they aren't stopping even after all the casualties they suffered. Why? What is so valuable that they sacrifice men to obtain it and it isn't in one place? Is it moving or is it something they are looking for?'
I try to analyze their movements for a pattern and I don't see an obvious one. I decide to ask Mal0 if she sees any pattern.
Mal0: "Yeah I think that is the kind of technique I would use if I was trying to evade pursuers."
Rio: "Mal your genius is showing, that fits perfectly. I was too stuck in my idea that a professional would use this pattern but a less experienced individual would."
Mal0 blushes and panics.
Mal0: "Ahhh, where?!"
Rio: "Oh have you seen Spongebob as well? I haven't watched it in a while."
Mal0: "Oh, uh, yeah that was what I was referencing. The show. Not anything else."
I looked at her and squinted my eyes as that sounded incredibly suspicious. I decide to look away and not question it.
Rio: "Anyways this solves what Hydra is doing but not who they are going through all this trouble for. It can't be the Winter Soldier as I just saw him in cyrostasis in Canada. Another assassin perhaps? Hmm, I guess I will have to keep an eye out for any info. So I can give you 250k for this info."
Mal0: "Hmm, yeah I think that's fair since Renamon helped get this info so a 50/50 split with her seems reasonable."
Rio: "Perfect I will transfer the money now. Is there anything else?"
Mal0: "No that is it."
As Mal0 leaves I jump back into the information. I look through it to find anything else of note. I found something I was looking for.
'I was wondering why they have been so quiet after Padme gave that speech but it looks like her popularity is making them wait to do anything. Though they have plans to deploy the Winter Soldier in the next couple of months to deal with her. Maybe after I do the next gacha I can start dealing with Bucky, Steve, and Carter. Project Insight is looking to be completed as early as 2009 and as late as 2011. I guess it doesn't matter if the flying targets launch or not as ODIN can wipe them out before they can do anything to stop us. Or, I could have Team Galactic highjack the Helicarriers. Then they disappear and everyone is worried as to where they went. Resource wise they can be scrapped for the materials.'
I decided to postpone any ideas about Project Insight for now as we just don't have the spare manpower. I move to go over the blueprints of the large estate where the Vampire Summit will be taking place. I use my Palantir to see if there are any secret entrances or exits and where they are. I make a full 3D version of the estate and start to plan where the barrier should be set up and where I should start my attack. I then schedule a session with Orochimaru to teach me how to use the Four Violet Flames Formation. Finally, I go back to working on the AI.
POV Reznov
Reznov: "Are you ready your highness?"
Anastasia: "Yes Reznov I am ready."
We were about to hold a rally that may just start a civil war depending on how well it goes. I step on to the stage and begin my speech.
Reznov: "Brave comrades of Russia, the time has come to rise against our oppressors! Today, we show them the hearts of true Russians! We have all given our blood and sweat for the Motherland. We have answered her calls without question. We gave our youth, our hearts, our very souls for her protection. We have worked hard to make the lives of those around us safe and secure but we are undermined by our own leaders who have become dogs to the Fascists. The Motherland has languished, with no hope for greater days... No hope for justice. We have watched our comrades succumb to sickness and disease while our so-called leaders refused to buy medicine to help the people. We have been starved. We have been beaten. But we will not be broken! Today, we will send a message to our corrupt and arrogant leaders. Today, my comrades... Russia - RISES!!!"
Crowd: "URA!!!!!"
I lead the large group of Russians to the Kremlin where our so-called leaders have already fled while they gather their loyal subordinates. Once we take the Kremlin I step out to give a speech to the crowd.
Reznov: "Brave comrades of Russia, we have shown our spirit today and we have also revealed the cowardice of our false leaders. Today, you have shown the world that Russians will no longer ignore the corruption and rot that intends to destroy our glorious Motherland. We will do to the Facist that I did in my youth. We will drive them out of the Motherland. Once and for all!"
Crowd: "URA!!!!!"
Reznov: "Make no mistake this is only the beginning, there can be no peace until the rot has been removed from the Motherland. I am calling every able-bodied person to rise with me to defeat the cowards who have fled Moscow. They will return with their corrupt lackeys. When they do we must be ready to kill the Fascists who intend on crushing our spirits. Now I know many of you are wondering who stands up here with me. I will introduce you. Meet the Hero of Stalingrad and my closest friend, Dimitri Petrenko. He like myself was betrayed by the Communists and left to languish in a lab run by the Fascists they let run wild. He fought by my side from the siege of Stalingrad to the fall of Berlin. I would trust him with my life."
The crowd cheers for him.
Reznov: "The other individual many of you have heard rumors of her survival. Some of you have heard me talk about a return to the true glory days of Russia, back to our roots as a great power. I would like to introduce to you all Anastasia Romanov, daughter of the last Tsar of Russia and the one I intend on leading us into a new brighter future."
The crowds gasp and murmur about her. I motion her to speak.
Anastasia: "Hello my people. I know that my father was not a great leader. I know that he made many mistakes. I also know that I am not him. I have been away from the Motherland for a very long time. I imagine many of you doubt my authenticity as I should surely be an old hag. I am here to tell you what happened. I was smuggled out of the palace before the Communists had gathered us all up. I escaped but lost my memory for a time questioning where I came from. Eventually, I discovered my origins, and unfortunately so did the Communists. I was captured and then frozen to be used at a later date. That is why I look so young. It's because I am barely 20 years of age. I want everyone to know that I intend to lead Russia in a better way. I want to be a Tsarita that listens to the people. I intend to have a senate that can represent the people. I want all of us to see a better brighter future. Will you all join me in my fight to dismantle the current regime?"
Crowd: "URA!!!!!"
Reznov: "Then let us get ready to fight for our freedom. For the Motherland!!! URA!!!!"
Crowd: "URA!!!!!"

Authors Note:
Another chapter with updates on the current situation. I also wanted to show what the vampires were up to and tease the coming fight with them. Now that big deal the Russian Civil War has begun, now the fighting won't begin immediately as both sides will be trying to confirm who is loyal to who and also gather their forces. The speech Reznov made is heavily inspired by his Vorkuta speech. Until next time Ciao.
