"Tell me, what were you planning to do by approaching him just now?" Noah's stern tone in his question pierced her Ailetta's dense exterior. Overwhelmed with shame, she couldn't bring herself to meet his gaze, but she knew she had to respond.

"I…I had to…They were going to try to use me to get to you! I didn't…I didn't know what else t-Ah!"

Before she could finish her sentence, she felt a presence in front of her, and as she turned, Noah swiftly flicked her on her forehead. The sudden jolt of pain caused her to cry out, thankfully Noah's stats were lowered because he had every intention to use his full force. 

The physical reprimand left Aletta feeling small and feeble in his presence. Every action, every word she spoke was anxiously done to not let the person that she cared for the most down. And yet the pain she was induced to, served as a heavy reminder of her failure.
