Lyra smiled and went out of the castle to give her parents some privacy. She knew about her mother's anguish when she learned about her father's disappearance. 

Sighing she darted her eyes at the entrance and felt worried. Killian's unusual behavior for the past few days made her nervous. Someone was controlling him but she didn't know who it is.

Then another thought entered her mind. If it was really true that Killian was manipulated then were her other mates too? Victor came to her mind as soon as she deduced that possibility. Lyra knew well about Victor's personality. He was stubborn but not irrational. His frantic mood for the past few weeks was shocking for her, but she guessed that it might be because he was just feeling insecure.
