It was dark.

The place Aiden brought me into was completely dark.

There was this weird smell of sweat, drinks, and blood in the air, and the more I walked inside, the weirder I felt.

It was giving me cold vibes. Despite the anger that was consuming my head and heart, I still had my intellect intact.

I paused.

I couldn't take a step forward. There was something about this place that was giving me negative vibes.

And it was the kind of negative vibes that you get from a place where death was natural because it was street fighting and things usually get brutal.

No. It was the kind of negative vibes you would get from a haunted place, like from a graveyard, from a place where sacrifices are made.

Don't even ask me how I knew all that, but I knew it was exactly what I was feeling.

It was too strange.
