To say everyone was shocked would be an understatement. 

The color drained from Prince Ethan's face, but nothing could compare to King David's expression.

It has been three days since he received an anonymous letter in his name. The letter was strictly to be opened by him.

Thinking that it was some kind of information regarding pack members' rebellion from the spies he had asked his team to spread among the nation so they could know about their people's every move, King David hadn't thought much about it and given it little significance.

Rather than opening the letter immediately, he had gone horse riding to freshen up his head. 

Things had been a little peachy after the royal ball, and his son, Prince Ethan, was atrociously distant from everyone. 

However, when he returned from his horse riding practice, he saw his daughter sitting in his office, waiting for him with an anxious expression.
