You crouch in a pitch-black pool of shadow on the dark seaward side of the boat. Footsteps sound above you as a sailor languidly patrols the upper deck, and voices echo from farther astern as two sailors share swigs of liquor on the foredeck, but you don't seem to be in any immediate danger. You plan your next move.
The artifacts are a sensible place to start, and the smart money says they will be stashed in the cargo hold. You need to get inside and below decks quickly, before the ship can put out to sea, and ideally without bringing the entire crew down upon you. You think over your natural strengths and decide how best to proceed.
