On a more positive note, the demon suit had managed to disperse the force of the assailant’s attack, protecting Saleen from potentially adding a crushed chest to his list of injuries. Saleen knew that the strength of the assassin far surpassed that of Sika.

Daniel, having been pushed far beyond his physical limits a long time ago, was extremely exhausted. All he wanted to do was rest. His death flames were expending his energy at such an unprecedented rate that he needed to utilize magic nuclei in order to recharge the flames.
