"What are you doing?" Lu Meili asked. She was holding Long Cheng's wrist tightly, clearly showing her refusal to let him touch her. 'The sparks are still there, so I can't complain...' His thoughts feeling the familiar static when they were touching each other.

Though Long Cheng was caressing her skin earlier, he could feel the sparks better when she touched him.

Long Cheng grinned, "I was checking if you have other wounds. You know since you are not the careful type." He said casually, before trying to check again, ignoring her grip which was tightening further around his wrist.

Her eyes narrowed suspiciously, "Stop." She hissed pushing his arm away. She would never buy such a lame excuse. There was also no way she would let him look further.

Long Cheng's eyes glinted with hurt before he managed to hide it completely. "Your wounds…" He reminded instead.

Her brows wrinkled deeply. Lu Meili tried to get up instead of answering him. She decided to use the tree to support herself, instead of his offering hand.

Through clenched teeth, "Hey, I said your wounds. What if you still have one that is not yet closed up." Long Cheng insisted. He, however, allowed her to stand up on her own. 'Well, I don't smell fresh blood from her anymore, and there was no harm in trying."

The idea was already imprinted in his head since earlier, and her refusal to let him check was making him more curious to see what she was hiding.

He also knew the closer they were with each other, the easier it would be for the bond to form. That was the fact that Long Cheng would like to take advantage of.

Lu Meili shook her head, before answering with indifference, "My wounds will heal, regardless of your help or not. So get your hands off me."

He suddenly laughed loudly, "You are shy, aren't you?"

"No! Don't talk nonsense." Lu Meili said appalled. She then started walking away from the tree.

With a snort, "Admit it! I am your mate. I can at least make sure that you are alright since you saved me once again." He insisted, walking right behind her. "Do you want me to carry you? By the way, I would love to."

Long Cheng offered as she was still technically only in a hanging shirt and underwear. She was not even wearing anything on her feet. He was sure that if Long Jun had seen her like this, the man would have pointed out again that she was uncivilized. More than they were.

'So what? She still looks hot.' As he was walking behind her. Long Cheng did not complain as he was able to see the full view of her behind. He was not ashamed of hungrily looking at it. 'Fvcking fabulous…' He thought grinningly as he imagined some beautiful things to do with it or in it.

Then she suddenly turned around, giving him a view of her crotch. Long Cheng could not help but groan painfully.

"Tease." He mumbled loudly making sure that she knew how he felt. To emphasize his point, Long Cheng was unashamed at all to palm himself through his jeans and adjust his already hardened member. "See what you did to me."

Lu Meili's eyes widened. Whatever she was about to say got caught in her throat. She opened her mouth but nothing came out. In the end, she decided to turn around with her face heated up.

"Haha!" Long Cheng laughed loudly because of her actions. "What's wrong? We had been watching porn earlier. There's no need to be shy anymore." He said playfully as he watched her back shamelessly.

Lu Meili could feel his burning gaze. It took all her strength to not snap at him. Why? Because he had a point. There was no reason to be shy. She did tie him up earlier so she could get his specimen. They could always do that later.

Now, Lu Meili needed to find her ruby pendant after that she could deal with Long Cheng.

She chose to ignore him as she was busy going back to looking at her ruby pendant. At first, she was upset with him when he tried to heal her. It was a known thing that dragons had a unique constitution. So she was not surprised that his saliva could be used for minor healing.

Dragon's blood could be used to strengthen physique as well. Their scales were made as an armour. Claws for spiritual weapons and other parts could be used as an essential magical ingredient. That was the reason why a Universal Law, to forbid hunting dragons were available.

'Yeah. He was being hunted earlier.' Lu Meili remembered the assassins or probably hunters that tried to kill him before.

"So where are we going? Once we arrive there, are we making out, finally?" He suddenly asked disturbing her thoughts.
