章節 14: CHAPTER 9 - FLOWERS ARE CHARMING YET BEAUTIFUL (1)
Sakura Empire.
There are a lot of girls in the harbor waiting for someone to arrive. They 're waiting for the arrival of Shoukaku and Zuikaku.
Just after the return of the Akagi and Kaga with the remaining ships, they've been expecting good news from them. It turned out to be different, though.
Not only have they failed to conquer Azur Lane, even Shoukaku and Zuikaku have not yet returned to the Sakura Empire.
Akagi and Kaga informed them that two of them had been caught by Azur Lane. Although Souryuu and Hiryuu told them otherwise. Worse, leader of the Sakura Empire, Nagato chose not to punish them for their failure.
"Should you have a little rest, Ayanami? ", asked Takao. "You've just come back from the mission. You 're supposed to take a break while you can".
"Don't worry about me," Ayanami said. "I'm going to wait until they arrive."
"If you say so," Takao said.
Takao thought deeply, rather than worrying too much about the actions of Kaga and Akagi. She knew that Kaga and Akagi just don't like the fifth carrier division. Yet their acts on them are insane.
"What are Kaga and Akagi thinking about? ". Takao asked. 'If our flagship is already doomed, what happens to us. Not all of us are good enough in comparison to Akagi and Kaga
"I don't know," Ayanami said. "But I hate that."
It's been a few days since Kaga and Akagi returned to the Sakura Empire. If Shoukaku and Zuikaku were caught by the Azur Lane. They should have already been told and received a response. Yet, it is only Kirishima and Akatsuki that are written in the message. No Shoukaku and Zuikaku, which caused confusion among the others.
"Are you sure that you were attacked by unknown creatures and not by sirens, Ayanami? ", asked Takao. "I never think we have enemies other than the sirens and the Azur Lane."
"I'm pretty sure of that," Ayanami said. "I hear a sudden scream that doesn't belong to the sirens or the Azur Lane. I didn't see anything, but that's not the way it could be the other two.
Crimson Axis has already declared war on Azur Lane. They still have a ton of sirens ship at their fingertips. But that doesn't mean they 're free from sirens, particularly high-class sirens.
"We've got a lot of enemies to begin with," Takao said. "We 're definitely going to be crushed if we have other enemies before us."
"Not to mention that Azur Lane has gains another ally," Atago said. Suddenly she appears in front of Takao and Ayanami. Apparently, she feels very concerned about Takao, who is still waiting for the sister of the cranes to arrive.
"I have heard from Souryuu and Hiryuu. Unknown man who is stronger than all of us capable of destroying sirens in a matter of seconds, "Atago said.
"We will think about him later," Takao said. "We've got a problem in front of us. We can only hope that Shoukaku and Zuikaku are still alive".
When they think of Shoukaku and Zuikaku, they hear someone running and shouting at them.
"They 're right here!! They 're here! "Yamashiro yelled. "Shoukaku and Zuikaku are here."
Yamashiro pointed her finger at the sea, and an aircraft carrier could be seen sailing towards the Sakura Empire. It's the ship of Shoukaku.
They 're just not wasting any time. They 're going to the ship as soon as they can. Both of them are still alive and kicking.

"You can go, Kaga and Akagi," Nagato, leader of the Sakura Empire, ordered. Her body may be tiny compared to other girls. Her strength, however, is something else. It's the perfect reason not to judge people by their looks.
"As you wish, Nagato," Kaga and Akagi said.
Nagato, Mutsu and Kawakaze are watching Kaga and Akagi are leaving the room. Despite that, they 're all worried about all of this. It's good news for them, as Shoukaku and Zuikaku are still alive.
However, the reports are different from what Kaga and Akagi told them. Their forces are being undermined by a single individual. A guy who called himself the commander of Azur Lane. A person who has never heard of any of them in Sakura Empire. His name is Kay.
"No matter what Kaga and Akagi do, we've been forced to strike first," Nagato said. "With the unknown man who seems to be helping Azur Lane, we will not let our guard down."
"The man who fights with the swords and the lightning. Aren't that interesting, "Kawakaze said. "I 'm looking forward to battling him, my queen, if he dares to come here."
"Thank you, Kawakaze," Nagato said. "But if that man really as Shoukaku told us. We 're probably in a huge problem.
"Don't worry, Nee-san," Mutsu said. "The Sakura Empire is powerful enough. We also have you to protect all of us.
Nagato is looking at her little sister. She's very powerful enough to protect the Sakura Empire. Something else in her mind, though, feels differently.

"Stupid Nagato," Kaga said in frustration. "If we want to win this war, we must strive very strongly. Yet, she lacks ambitions for the Sakura Empire.
"Calm down, Kaga," Akagi said. "I'm pretty sure Nagato is just worried about her people. After all, she's always looking at everyone without prejudice".
They hear someone approaching them as they talk about it. It's a ship girl from Ironblood who was an ally with them, called Crimson Axis.
The girl is white-haired, her clothes are a little fancy with red sleeves and a gray color in the front. A mole can also be seen on her side chest. It's Prinz Eugene.
"What do you want, Prinz Eugene? "Ask Kaga. She looks annoyed as she really hates Prinz Eugene.
"Please don't speak like that," said Prinz Eugene. "Aren't we 're allies to begin with?."
She's grinning at Kaga, making her more irritating. Akagi is trying to comfort her sister as she talks to Prinz Eugene. She needs to know, why she's going to meet them so suddenly.
"To think that the Sakura Empire has fallen to the tiny Azur Lane ships, I think it's time for me to console you," said Prinz Eugene.
"You!!! "shouted Kaga. "We haven't lost against them! ".
Prinz Eugen smiled a little bit. She was teasing them to begin with.
"I'm just joking," said Prinz Eugene. "I have heard about Shoukaku and Zuikaku. Not to mention something upsetting about it. Can I hear some detail about that?".
"And why are we supposed to tell you? "Ask Kaga.
"Now, now, Kaga," Akagi said. "We are allies, so we should support them as well. Not to mention that you can do something that helpful to us".
Like a fox who's always trying to trick someone. Akagi may be a person that you really need to be careful and think wisely if you're with her.
Akagi expression is difficult for common people to understand. You may think she's absolutely calm. Her insides, however, are different.
"Well, I'm pretty bored right now," said Prinz Eugene. "Perhaps I can do something to make you feel better. Am I right, Kaga?".
"Tch, I 'm leaving," Kaga said, leaving them behind.
"She really hates me, I suppose," said Prinz Eugene. "So, what do you want me to do about it, Akagi."
They 're both talking, yet they don't realize there's something watching them. It is a bird that follows the Shoukaku and Zuikaku as they return to the Sakura Empire. The bird belongs to Kay, and it is watching them with its eyes, [Eagle Eye].

Location unknown, time unknown.
A girl is sitting around while hugging her body. She feels so frightened because she's alone right now. She felt like she was having a nightmare. A memory that she doesn't seem to like.
She's trying to walk, but the path is too dark and there's no way for her to go. It seems like her path is already prohibiting her from leaving.
"Where am I now?" asked Zuikaku in weak voice. She feels very exhausted and almost faint.
"Shoukaku-nee!", shouted Zuikaku. "Where are you now? ".
She's beginning to cry. She doesn't want to be on her own. She's feeling insecure. Here, it's too dark. There is no light to guide her.
"Someone, please save me," Zuikaku said as she cried.
She closed her eyes as she in tears, wanting to put an end to her nightmare. Suddenly, someone was carrying her, leaving her stunned as she opened her eyes.
She sees Kay holding her liked a bride. His face seems tense yet calm. His sword has yet to be released as he grabs his sword tightly. He encounters something, "The Cell."
"Are you done messing around?", asked Kay.
"Let me tell you",
"Enormous power come with huge responsibilities",
"Yet, people misused their powers to destroy each others"
"And, my element can destroy the world!!!!!"
Even thought, "The Cell" is really frightening, Zuikaku doesn't feel scared anymore. When Kay holds her, she feels very calm. She senses the softness of Kay when he is touching her. She closes her eyes and hopes for the best.
And then, someone calling her name, she's her big sister, Shoukaku.
"Zuikaku! Zuikaku! ", Shoukaku shouted. "Are you all right? ".
Zuikaku is waking from her dream. Shoukaku holds Zuikaku 's hand as she felt that her little sister was just facing a horrible dream, a nightmare.
"You have a horrible nightmare, Zuikaku? "asked Shoukaku. "Don't think about it too much, Zuikaku. You are save here".
"Save here, huh? Where are we now, Shoukaku-nee? ", asked Zuikaku. She's a bit lost, even as she's regaining her consciousness.
Shoukaku tells her more about what happens to her little sister. She also scolds her about her stupid actions when they're facing "The Cell." She also mentioned her about Kay, too.
"So, the man named is Kay," Zuikaku said. Even subconsciously, she feels worthless and ashamed of herself when listening the back story from Shoukaku. But she seems grateful that she's still alive.
"Are you interested with him? "asked Shoukaku. "Not to mention that he's been carrying you like a princess for quite some time. Shoukaku teases her sister as she smiles at her.
"No ... no, it's not like that," Zuikaku said, feeling embarrassed. "It's just that my heart feels calm as him saves me. I don't know what this feeling is, but I feel in debt to him".
Well, we 're going to meet him later. So, you can say thank you to him later, "Shoukaku said. As she said, Zuikaku had become confused after hearing that.

A few days later, Zuikaku is back to normal as she regains her strength and personality. Well, I guess it's too hyperactive. It appears like the incident never occurs in first place.
"Well, look at you again, back to the original," Takao said. "This is a better, I suppose."
Zuikaku and Takao are training swords right now. Swing and swing their sword to control their style.
"Can I ask you something, Zuikaku?", said Takao. "Is that your new sword?".
Takao pointed her finger at the sword that Zuikaku was holding. The sword looks amazing and elegant. It's a 'katana' with a little bit of a long grip. The grip has a yellow stripe as an attachment.
"You mean this sword, hmmm? "Well, my katana is broken and missing throughout the operation," Zuikaku said. "Shoukaku-nee has found this sword on her ship. Since she doesn't know how to use the sword, she gave it to me instead".
"Found on her ship? "Asked Takao. "Well, there's someone very careless."
"I just intend to try to use this sword," Zuikaku said. "This sword, however, seems unusual to me."
"What do you mean by that? "Asked Takao. "The blade is sharp to me. Is there a problem with that? ".
"I can't fuse it with my power," Zuikaku said. "It seems like every time I try, this sword is refused to do it."
While they were busy discussing, Shoukaku interfered.
"This sword is not suited to you, of course," Shoukaku said. "It's really not your type, especially Zuikaku is a type of fire."
"What do you mean by that, Shoukaku-nee," Zuikaku asked,
"Are you sure that it's okay for Zuikaku to use the sword? "Asked Takao. "Should we bring it back to the owner of it? ".
"I'm sure it's all right," Shoukaku said. "I mean, man doesn't seem to mind about it, either."
"That man? ... what are you talking about? ...," Takao said. Except Shoukaku seems to disregard her questions and seek to get her to another location.
"Wait .... where are you going to bring me? ", as Shoukaku tried to push her, Takao asked her.
"Zuikaku is still in recovery. She still needs to rest, "Shoukaku said. "And, of course, Zuikaku. Just don't stress yourself too hard".
Zuikaku just stared at Takao and Shoukaku as they left her alone. She 's looking at the sword she's holding.
Suddenly, a bird comes to her and sits on her head. She's trying to chase away the bird out of her head, but it seems pointless. The bird will sit for a few seconds before it flies away.
Before looking at Zuikaku, the bird looks at the sword. Following that, the bird fled, leaving Zuikaku in confusion.
Meanwhile in Azur Lane.
"Belfast! "Kay said, calling Belfast named several times
"Yes, Master," said Belfast. "What can I do to help you? ".
"Did I forget something about? "asked Kay. He appears to have overlooked something important to him.
"Well, if you're forgetting about that. It is probably something unimportant", said Belfast.
"If you said that ... wait, how does it work that way? ", Kay said as Belfast chuckled at it.
