"Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them."—William Shakespeare.
This story is about the latter. A man with no recollection of his name, finds himself in the world of Avatar. Forcing to accept the idea that the show he once watched as a kid is not, in fact, fictional has taken a massive toll on him, torn as he is between the awesomeness of his new found powers as well as it's absurdity of how everything came to be, he will do what humans do best, he will overcome and adapt and greatness will follow.

寫檢討Haven't read the novel yet but I have really high hopes for it............................. ................................................
#Cornbringer #TheDevil #StayHealthy ~We lit! The Cornbringer is destined to bring greatness, so of course you'll get a 5-Star Review for me me homie.
Honestly I thought this story had a ton of potential but then you screwed it up be merging with vaatu. Wasn't his goal to defeat the avatar with a single element? I think it was genuinely unnecessary to have him merge with vaatu because it would have been incredible to see how far he could have gone with water bending. In the end this has turned into a pretty basic webnovel protaganist power high.
Great start but as soon as the MC gets a little stronger he becomes a douche, makes a ****ton of dumb choices that always work out fine for him, master the elements in days and goes against aang 'cause otherwise the story would be done already since he's too OP. Not really a story, just a character exploiting whatever it can for no reason at all.
Story starts off great but then the unnecessary drama every single chapter and when it finally comes to a tipping point.... the tic became god awful. The MC is pathetic. Cornbringer hasnt been as good lately since the game of thrones fic unfortunately
I'm too lazy to make a real review, but I'm rating this 5 stars and I think you should read it. Also, I'd like it if the MC romanced Azula... that's all.
Started really good, but unfortunately as the story went on the MC continuously devolved into an all knowing edge lord. The story began to lose all realism as the story basically became the MC trashing the main series for decisions made with the context that they were making a children’s show.
Good thing this is not a Harem novel ,...,.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
I'm using the translator. I'm sure the author won't read it since it's been years since this story ended. but i will comment anyway. Did not like. I read it because I had time to spend and it honestly left a bad taste. I don't know what the author's goal is but in his "GoT" story the MC was very influenced by a god. In this story we have an MC who was basically manipulated the whole story. the only thing that was his, his passion for azula was taken away from him, the feelings he had for her were taken away and even his memories. We don't end up with a resolution to the romance. which I consider sad and a down point in history. What I hate most is having the feeling of being a slave MC. yes slave of a god. and this feeling only deepens when the challenge is for him to fight a magically gifted being (the most powerful being in the novel) as a pure martial artist. Without any power. seriously the MC trained for a decade to perfect his waterbending but it became useless. In the end the only feeling I have after reading this novel is frustration. With that I won't read the author's works anymore I don't like gods interfering in the stories it can be at the beginning giving powers to reincarnate and bye the god. I'm not just a writer I know it's hard to write so I say congratulations on the story. managed to make me want to see the ending. But I won't read other works by the author because I'm seeing a pattern with two stories heavily influenced by gods. with that, bye.
After reading GoT, I expected the best from the author, but after chapter 20 I was already completely disappointed, inexplicable changes in the character of some characters, an incomprehensible cold attitude of the protagonist towards everyone, sorry, but this is not my type, maybe others will like it, but not me.
Ending was pretty stupid. Akira kills Ozai and wins the challenge, so how does he die? The moment Ozai died he should of gotten his bending back and Vatuu would have take over his body and bloodbend him back to health. And don’t try to say it wouldn’t work, because you said he was impaled by earth and lost organs yet he created those organs anew. But you’re telling me he died from burns and exhaustion. Just doesn’t make sense. I think you were trying to hard for theater effect and just made the ending make no sense. Life got what she wanted she wanted him to die, so that last line his his cycle begins or whatever. No matter how you try to do it in the next one it wouldn’t make sense.
Im going to be honest, this novel had its ups and downs for me but at the ends mostly bad things, not something that would make u hate a story but things that i found very annoying. the ending was just bad to be honest, like what was that really???author just got bored and destroyed every character at the end, so that he doesn t have to write just a little more. I liked the story a little, but im truly disappointed
its the best avatar fanfic out there right now so i suggest you read it _______________________________________________________________
This story is great! Anyone looking for a good story that tries to stray from canon, then you’ll be delighted… Unfortunately that’s one of the few good points I really have to say about it. There are a lot of things I don’t like about it. Especially with how it ended. I thought a lot of elements in the story were great, like learning from the spirits themselves instead of the animals that learned from them, and including beings like the mother of faces. But, to me, it all just kind of amounted to nothing in the end? Everything Akira did from mastering the elements and innovating on them, to his romance just amounted to nothing in the end. Azula and Akira became just friends at the end, his bending was taken away for the final fight, and he died in the most anticlimactic way possible. This story builds up to nothing and leaves you with a bitter taste in your mouth from the way nothing in the end ever gets resolved in a remotely satisfying way and everything was meaningless. I enjoyed the journey I took to the end, I just wish the destination wasn’t so disappointing.
揭示劇透Honest review from reader prospective. First and foremost i have to admit that I really liked it, as i have read until the last chapter available (chp 87). As such my rating isn't stupidly high because even if I have really appreciated the read, there clearly is space for improvement. The most lacking part I have noticed is the writing quality. The first chapters in particular are terrible, there are some visible mistakes and mostly the punctuation is terrible. For example I remember seeing a really hard abuse of "..." every so often, and is surely annoying. However after the first ten chapters the quality rises to a sufficient level, and the read become quite enjoyable. The other negative thing I have to mention, is that i found the general descriprion of the world machanics and the various scenarious a bit lacking. Anyway in the end I would certainly recommend you to give the novel a try. As the story developement and character design really captivated me. Happy reading [img=update]

Right off the bat, the quality is, in my opinion, strikingly good. At least certainly so for the standards of this site. I've no problems understanding what I read and the chapters have a good enough fluidity that I'm pulled in wanting more. Good quality! As far as the stability of updates go, I've never cared for them, but it's also a strong point I want to highlight. The author has updated daily and stuck to that statement with the exception of a short period when their focus was on another novel. So a great stability no doubt. [MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD |:| READ AT YOUR OWN RISK] The story development is amazing, we see the main character become a master of not only his element but also of himself as a person. He seemingly breaks away from the norm and even goes as far as making his own style and innovating techniques. Hell, the guy can fly using his advanced understanding of his element. The story develops very well, the flow of events is logical and gets you hooked enough to keep reading till the end. Das de gud shiz The character design is amazing, the main character doesn't just feel like he's a construct of fiction. He's detailed enough to be understood and normal enough to relate to. His thoughts and feelings are often portrayed and written out for us to understand him, it almost feels like I'm growing with him too, as I follow him through his journey. Another great aspect of this novel, is it's authenticity. It stays true to the personality of the canon characters, mainly Master Pakku, his personality is as true as it gets. It almost feels like I'm reading an actual Avatar novel. The world background is well done, though I myself have watched the series and therefor have no need for such detailed environment, I'm more than certain that those who have not, will have no problem creating the mental image of the scenarios and events that play out. Over all, I strongly believe this novel deserves a full 5 star review even though it's still in it's beginning stages. I am eager to read more, especially so now, seeing that the author has returned and is putting their focus into this masterpiece here. And dear author, if you do end up reading my review, please drop a like, or a comment, show me you've read it. It'd mean a lot. Thanks!
