**Earth-66, 2012**
The event in Times Square was in full swing. Captain George Stacy proudly introduced Peter Parker, who nervously approached Spider-Woman and was holding a small flower bouquet.
"Spider-Woman, meet Peter Parker," George said. "One of your biggest fans."
Peter pretending to be awestruck spoke nervously, "H-Hi. I'm a huge fan of yours. You're incredible." He extended the flowers toward Gwen who blinked in surprise.
Telepathically, she hissed to Peter, 'What the hell, Peter?'
Through their bond, Peter replied with a grin, 'I'm here to support you as your number-one fan. What's wrong with that?'
Gwen didn't know whether to laugh or be annoyed. She accepted the flowers with a nod, "Uh, thank you."
They posed for a photo together, with Peter giving a cheerful V-sign and Gwen smiling awkwardly. Spider-Man, the avatar of Peter also joined the session while wrapping his arms around both of them. The crowd cheered as cameras flashed, capturing the moment.
Suddenly, both Spider-Man and Spider-Woman's spider senses flared simultaneously.
BOOM!
A deafening explosion rocked the area, sending shockwaves through the crowd. Chaos erupted as people screamed and ran for safety. Captain George and Deputy Yuri immediately took charge, giving evacuation orders and coordinating the police to secure the area.
Peter who is behind Captain George, used his telekinesis discreetly to stabilize a collapsing structure, preventing it from falling onto fleeing civilians. His avatar moved with superhuman speed, rescuing people and ensuring their safety, all while keeping his abilities low-key.
Above the chaos, a chilling, manic laugh echoed through the air. Everyone turned to look at its source.
Peter already used his telepathy to know who that was and also slowly turned his head and looked up.
High above, a man clad in a green suit, perched on a menacing glider, cackled wildly. In his hands were two goblin-shaped bombs, ready to unleash more destruction. It is Green Goblin.
"Why am I not invited to this party?" he sneered with his twisted grin visible even behind his mask. His crazed eyes scanned the crowd until they landed on Spider-Man.
"Well, well. Another web-head. Where the hell did you bring me?" the Goblin demanded and started throwing the bombs directly at Spider-Man.
Before they could reach him, the bombs disintegrated into dust mid-air.
"Huh?" The Green Goblin froze in shock with his eyes darting between the fading remnants of his explosives.
The crowd, the police, and even the Goblin himself were stunned. Gwen, however, knew exactly what had happened.
'Peter.' she thought. He had used his matter manipulation to neutralize the threat without a single word.
But Peter didn't stop there. He turned his attention to the Goblin's glider and bombs, which also dissolved into dust. The Goblin, now disarmed and vulnerable began freefalling from the sky.
As the Goblin plummeted, Spider-Man leapt toward him with controlled fury. Goblin's eyes widened seeing Spiderman coming towards him with his fist.
With one powerful punch, Peter's fist connected with the Goblin's helmet.
CRACK! BOOM!
The helmet shattered from the impact, and the Goblin was sent hurtling toward the ground. He landed with a heavy thud, the concrete beneath him cracking from the force.
Peter landed gracefully a few feet away, followed by Gwen who joined him with a nod.
The Goblin lay unconscious with blood trickling from his nose and ears. Despite the force of the punch—about 50 tons—Peter had held back just enough to ensure the Goblin survived. Had it been a full-strength hit, the Goblin's head would have been obliterated.
For a moment, there was stunned silence. Then, the crowd erupted into cheers, chanting the Spider Couple's names. People clapped, whistled, and waved in appreciation of how easily the heroes had handled the threat.
George who is watching from the stage, let out a relieved sigh. He placed a reassuring hand on Parker's shoulder. "They've got this," he said with a small smile and nodded approvingly.
Peter still posing as a civilian, nodded back and watched Gwen wave to the cheering crowd.
George told Peter, "You should head home now, Peter. I'll send some officers with you for safety."
Peter nodded. "Alright, Uncle. Be careful out there."
With that, George gestured to a couple of officers to accompany Peter before he and Yuri moved toward the location where Spider-Man and Spider-Woman were waiting.
The two vigilantes stood over the unconscious body of a green suited man. George and Yuri stopped a few steps behind them.
"Do you know anything about him?" George asked cautiously.
Spider-Man turned toward him. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you, Captain."
Before George could reply, the green man's body flickered and glitched as if he were a character in a malfunctioning video game.
Spider-Woman sighed and addressed them. "This matter is beyond your jurisdiction now. We'll take it from here."
Yuri frowned and crossed her arms. "Don't forget, we're partners now. That means we have the right to know the truth."
Spider-Man sighed heavily as Spider-Woman glanced at him. After a moment, he nodded.
'Let's go,' Spider-man thought.
Suddenly, all four of them disappeared from the location.

**Inside Spider's Web**
They all reappeared in a high-tech facility filled with glowing holographic screens and advanced machinery. George and Yuri's eyes widened in shock as they took in their surroundings.
"What is this place?" Yuri asked while trying to process what she was seeing.
Spider-Man replied calmly, "Welcome to Spider's Web. This is our hideout and base of operations. We monitor all crime in New York from here."
Before they could ask more questions, their police comms buzzed. A concerned voice asked for their whereabouts.
George quickly replied, "We're fine. End the event and wrap everything up. We'll be back shortly."
Yuri gave him a questioning glance, but he shook his head, signaling her to let it go for now.
Peter had already explained the situation about the mysterious green man to Gwen telepathically, who was still in shock after hearing the details.
'Is it really him, Peter?' Gwen asked telepathically.
'It is. But this isn't the version we know,'Peter said, placing a collar around the green man's neck. 'This will block his powers.'
Next, he webbed the green man entirely from the neck down, leaving only his nose exposed for breathing. Even his eyes and mouth were covered.
Yuri watched in confusion and asked, "Do you have a grudge against him or something? That's overkill."
Peter turned to them and began explaining, "This guy is from another universe. That's why he glitched like that."
George and Yuri exchanged skeptical glances. "Another universe? You expect us to believe that?" George asked.
Peter gestured to the still-glitching green man. "What other explanation do you have for that?"
After a few more moments of silence and further explanations, George and Yuri finally relented.
"Fine," George said while rubbing his temples. "We'll let you handle this. But don't forget, we're trusting you with this matter."
Yuri nodded reluctantly. "Don't make us regret it."
Peter gave them a small salute. "Understood, Captain. Also don't mention anything about this location to other, but you also don't know anything about this location so it's fine, I guess."
Before they could say anything, with a snap of his fingers, George and Yuri vanished, teleported back to their station.
Gwen seeing them leave turned to Peter. "What are we going to do now?"
Peter smirked and snapped his fingers again. Two more figures appeared in the room.
One of them was Jessica Drew, and the other was a woman wearing a suit identical to Spider-Woman's original costume.
Both newcomers looked around in surprise and was confused by the sudden teleportation.
"Peter, a little warning next time!" Jessica said after seeing Peter and Gwen and brush herself off.
Gwen's face lit up as she immediately pulled Jessica into a hug. "Jess! It's so good to see you!"
Jessica chuckled and returned the hug. "Good to see you too, Gwen. How are things going on?"
As Gwen pulled back, her eyes fell on the other woman, and she froze for a moment. The resemblance was uncanny.
The other Gwen smiled nervously and extended a hand. "Hi, I'm… well, I guess I'm you."

After sometime with their masks removed, Jessica and Gwen from Earth-65, a neighboring universe stood before Peter and Gwen-66. Jessica began explaining their mission which involved hunting variants that had escaped through different universes.
"This all started because of Kingpin and his collider in Earth-1610," Jessica explained. "It created tears in the multiverse and makes it possible sending people to other realities. But the collider malfunctioned during one of Kingpin's experiments. It tore through the multiverse, scattering people and beings across different realities. We've been tasked with capturing them and returning them to their original universes."
Gwen-65 stood silently and was stealing glances at Peter. Everything about him—his hair, his eyes—reminded her of the Peter she had once known. Her heart ached at the resemblance. But whenever Peter's gaze met hers, she quickly turned away, pretending to be preoccupied.
Gwen-66 raised an eyebrow. "So basically, you're multiverse bounty hunters now."
Jessica chuckled. "That's one way to put it." Her eyes drifted toward the green Goblin who is now immobilized and wearing the power-suppressing collar. Her eyes focused more on the collar around his neck. "That's some advanced tech," she remarked before glancing at the equipment around them. "Actually, all of this is. It's on par with Spider Society's technology, maybe even better."
Peter smirked. "We like to stay ahead of the curve."
Gwen-66 sighed and turned to Gwen-65 catching her eyeing Peter again, "Hey, Gwen. Let's go grab something to eat. You've got a long trip back after this, right?"
Jessica sensing the tension quickly agreed. "Sounds like a good idea. I'm starving."
Without waiting for a reply, Gwen-66 grabbed Gwen-65 by the arm and dragged her out of the room. "Come on. The kitchen's this way."
Gwen-65 didn't protest but cast one last glance at Peter before disappearing around the corner.

**In the Kitchen**
The kitchen was well-stocked, with everything from fresh produce to ready-to-eat meals. Gwen-66 pulled open the fridge and gestured to the shelves.
"Take your pick," she said, her tone casual but her gaze sharp as she watched Gwen-65.
Gwen-65 fidgeted with her hands, looking through the options. "Thanks... This place… it's amazing. You and Peter built all this?"
"Mostly Peter," Gwen-66 replied, leaning against the counter. "He's a genius, after all."
Gwen-65 hesitated, then quietly asked, "So… how long have you two been together?"
Gwen-66 smirked catching the underlying question. "Long enough to know he's the one for me. Why? Does he remind you of someone?"
Gwen-65 hesitated before finally sighing, "I… I had a Peter in my world. He was my best friend. But… he's gone now."
Gwen-66 softened slightly, "Mind telling me what happened."
