章節 41: Alliance with the angels
Arthur POV
"Hello peter" I greeted. The angel smiled towards me and Nabe, although when seeing our joint hands it seemed to bloom.
"Hello Arthur, Nabe. May I ask why you have chosen to come to heaven?" Peter asked kindly.
"We have actually come here on business. Though I was also interested in seeing heaven... " I stated as I viewed my surroundings once more. "And so far, I must say it is quite beautiful." I complemented.
The angels smile widened before speaking. "And on behalf of all of us, I thank you for your kind words. Can I ask what business you might have?" Peter questioned me.
I nodded before replying. "You see, I suppose you could say I have recently started what could be considered my own faction and I wanted to be on good terms with the the angels and the church overall."
Peter nodded with a thoughtful look on his face. "I see. I would have to get one of the seraphim if that is the case. Please stay here with John whilst I go to request one of their presences" He asked and I nodded. He flashed away in a golden light.

It didnt take long before two sperate golden lights appeared before us. Out of one of the lights I recognized Peter and out of the other came another person, displaying 12 golden and white wings, I also recognized this person as Michael, the current leader of heaven.

Michael was an attractive looking man with long blond hair and green eyes. He had a soft smile and had eyes that for some reason permeated sadness, even though he appeared happy. He was wearing gold and red clothing/armor that seemed a little to large for his form.
"Hello young man. My name is Michael and I am one of the seraphim under our leader, God" Michael said softly.
"My name is Arthur Liones and I am the primordial human of infinity. The lovely woman standing next to me is Narberal, though I call her Nabe" I said with a nod towards Michael.
His eyes rose slightly at my title, but he didnt look concerned in the slightest, mainly confused.
"I see. If you'll follow me, I shall take you through the gates and we can go to sixth heaven to talk. This is where the other seraph reside." Michael offered and I gladly accepted with a smile and a thank you.
Turning away from me, we both looked to the gates.
*Crkkk*
The gates slowly opened, letting off a bright golden light, and when it fully opened, I could see what looked like a city of white, with many angels bearing two wings. They were walking around and talking with each other, though when they Saw Michael they bowed, though some of them looked confused and slightly concerned at my presence.
Michael turned to me, still wearing a smile. "This is the first layer of heaven. This is where the rest of the angels reside. Can I take you and lady Narberal to sixth heaven where we can talk?"
"Of course" I replied with a smile to Michael and a nod towards Nabe.
*Flash*
We appeared in what seemed to be a circular room with a fountain in the center and chairs surrounding it. Michael proceeded to walk towards a table before sitting and gesturing the the seats in front of him. "Please take a seat. Make yourselves comfortable."
"Thankyou" I replied with a smile. Once me and Nabe sat down Michael spoke.
"So, Peter tells me you are starting a faction and wish to have good relations with the church and heaven, is this correct?" Michael asks.
"Yeah I suppose it is. The faction thing isn't really true though. Im going to be honest, I like angels, I think they're cool and I wanted to have good relations with them so I came here. What consists of my 'faction' is me, Nabe, the other maids in my household and my sister because they all stay with me." I said to him with a shrug.
"I see. What did you mean earlier when you said 'primordial human of infinite'?" Michael asked me, the curiosity clearly lacing his voice.
"Its as I said. That is what I am. You have heard of Ophis haven't you?" I asked him and he nodded. "Precisely. She is called the dragon god of infinite due to her infinite power. It is in her blood, and I am the same. The difference being, she is a dragon and I am a human. She is also the sister I mentioned earlier." I said to him, hoping to make things clearer.
Throughout what I just said, Michaels eyes got wider and wider in realization. "I-I see."
"Yep. I go to the school in Kuoh which happens to house two sisters of the Maous, you probably know of them? We became friends and I chose to go to the underworld to meet its people. Y'know, test the water a little bit. But.... Well, they weren't exactly nice people, though I suppose that's kind of in the name. Don't get me wrong! Some of them are nice, but a lot of them are cocky, arrogant pricks, and so, I decided I didnt really want to be friendly with them. That pretty much summed that up. And now, here I am. I always thought angels were pretty cool, though the whole falling from grace is a bit shit, pardon my language."
I spoke a bit more than necessary but I thought some clarification would do some good and spread some light on the situation.
"And so, you wanted to ally with the angels? Is that what you are saying?" Michael questioned.
"Yeah, I suppose I do. Maybe become one. Can you still do that without God being alive?" I asked, though I already knew the answer.
Michaels eyes went wide at the mention of the Gods death. "S-so...You know about that then?" He asked silently.
"Ah...Yes I do. Im sorry about that by the way." I said sadly. Michael nodded and smiled once again.
"Thank you, even though he is gone, I believe he is still with us in heart. Though to answer your question from earlier, no we cant. We lost the ability to create angels when our father died sadly. It shames me to say that we are probably the weakest faction due to such a thing, along with a lot of angels falling to sin." Michael said looking down to the table.
"I see. I can help you with that if you'd like. As long as were allies of course?" I said to him with a smile. Michael rose his eyebrows and nodded "If you want to be allies, that would be great. Possibly having two 'primordial beings' as you say, on our side might encourage the others to stay in heaven and carry on following our fathers rules. Though I do not understand how you can help us with gaining our numbers." He said with a smile and a risen eyebrow.
"Of course. Yes, due to my powers I am able to do such a thing. I can give you an item that is able to turn humans into angels. It will work similarly to the evil pieces the devils have. I myself can turn people into pure blooded angels or even create them" I said to him, sagely nodding with my fingers on my chin.
From what I could see, Michael to say the least was... Gobsmacked. "Y-y-you can do such a thing? Just how powerful are you!?" He asked, his hands shaking on the table with anticipation.
'Hmm...I actually don't know anymore. I can create literally create anything or anyone, so in reality I could give myself infinite stats....
W-W-WAIT A GODDAMN MINUTE! I'm so fucking strong! Im going to have to talk to Grandpa about this shit!' I practically screamed to myself.
"I-uhhh...I don't really know myself anymore. I could say with certainty I am currently the strongest in this universe. But yes, I can do such a thing, would you like an example?"
Michael nodded his head. "Y-yes please, if you can" he spoke somewhat awkwardly. 'Though I suppose most would in this situation.' I thought

*SHINNNN*
A bright golden glow permeated throughout the room and I could feel something come from out of my back, and something giving me a calm and soothing feeling above my head, spreading warmth throughout my body. A sudden flash from the system appeared before my eyes.

When the glow faded, Michael was stood from his seat and Nabe was smiling at me.
*BANG* *DUFF*
I swiveled around to see one of the doors in the room had been slammed to the floor.
"F-FATHER! FATHER IS THAT YOU?"
