章節 139: A Brief Summary

>Tyler's POV<

I shook my head and looked straight back at Dannie. "Wag mo ng isipin yan sa time na ito." sabi ko sa kanya at at tumingin ako sa rooftop. "Alice is there on the top and she's healing some people and she might rest a bit. Why not try to message or call her?" I added and Dannie just nodded at me.

Geof rested on the outer wall of the house where the gate is connected and he sighed deeply. Sumunod din si Isobel at napatingin siya sa mga bituin sa langit.

"Kumusta na kaya si Sheloah, Shannara, at Veon?" tanong niya at napatingin kami ni Geof sa kanya. Si Dannie katext niya si Alice. Inaantay ang reply at sunud-sunod niyang tine-text si Alice para mapansin niya ang situation namin.

"Ano bang nangyari? Pansin ko rin na wala sila. Di niyo kasama. Biglaan kasi pagpunta namin dito l, bago ikwento ng tatay ni Dannie, bigla naman na-ambush ng mga zombies ang bahay na ito." tanong at sabi niya at napaupo rin kami ni Dannie sa tabi nila.

"Sheloah got kidnapped the other night." sagot ko at nagulat si Geof.

"A brief summary. He left clues and Dannie's father, knew the location. The kidnapper doesn't want us to bring his father. The reason? Di namin alam." kwento ko at nag-nod siya.

"Pumunta naman kami sa lugar na iyon. Problema nga lang, nawalan kami ng gas kaya nilakad namin papunta doon. Kasama si Dannie dahil siya yung may alam ng lugar." dagdag sabi pa ni Isobel at tingnan niya ako.

"Eh, kung pumunta pala kayo doon, anong nangyari? Bakit nahiwalay kayo?" tanong niya and Isobel rolled her eyes at his question because she remembered the reason why we all left the place.

"Nung nakita kasi ni Dannie yung kidnapper na yun, bigla na lang niyang sinampal at nagwalk-out siya." sagot ni Isobel at inirapan siya ni Dannie.

"Oo na lang! Basta wag niyong tanungin kung sino yang kidnapper na yan. Nagagalit na ako sa kanya." sabi ni Dannie at napatingin kaming lahat sa kanya. What is with that guy who kidnapped Sheloah? Why is Sheloah acting this way?

"Bakit?" Geof trailed off at tinignan niya si Dannie. "Boyfriend mo ba?" he questioned tapos napamulagat si Dannie dahil sa tanong niya.

"B-boyfriend ka dyan!" sabi niya and I saw her face blush. "Nakakairita kaya siya. Boyfriend daw." she added and she tucked the strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Kung narinig yan ni Josh, na boyfriend mo siya or whatsoever, ano kaya reaction niya?" tanong ni Isobel at napangiti na lang ako.

Maybe Josh will get jealous. Although he doesn't show it much, he only keeps quiet about it and would smile. You won't even notice that he's bothered about it. He's really an optimistic guy. That is one of his good traits, I suppose.

"Nasaan na pala si Josh?" tanong ni Geof and all of us frowned. He does not know the recent events that had happened.

Including Josh's death.

"Patay na siya." sabi ni Isobel and Dannie and I frowned more. I didn't have the courage to tell him the answer. Isobel already beat us to it. She told the answer. The answer that is still unacceptable to us no matter how many days already passed since his death. Even if those days were few...

We still miss him.

Geof looked sad, but not really sad because he did not really know Josh for a long time and they're not too closebut it's evident in his face that he's concern.

"Ano bang nangyari, bakit siya namatay?" tanong niya and he did the sign of the cross. "Rest in peace." he added and we sighed in sadness.

"He did it for Dannie. Mahal niya, eh. Kung mahal mo ang tao, you're willing to lay down your life for that person." sagot ko at agad niyang tingnan si Dannie at si Dannie biglang tumingin sa sahig na malungkot ang expression ng kanyang mukha.

"Mahal na mahal niya nga si Dannie. Kaya Dannie..." sabi niya and he held her shoulder. "Wag mong kalimutan ang death niya. Para sa'yo yun.." he said finally and Dannie nodded at him.

"Alam ko. Hindi mo na kailangan ulitin." sagot niya kay Geof at nakatanggap na siya ng tezt galing kay Alice at agad niya itong tinignan. Nakasilip din kami at binasa namin ang text niya ng sabay-sabay. Good thing Alice noticed our text quickly.
