章節 1: prolgue/ testing the waters on this idea

So I had this idea sitting in my head for a while, and instead of a full on fanfic, i qanted to give a taste of what a fanfic like this would be like I'm genuanlly interested in your feedback, so don't be shy.

So without further adue, lets dive in.

Ben 10 and Kai Green stood in the dimly lit cave under the lake in London, the same cave where they had first discovered the legendary sword Excalibur with the Forever Knights. They had returned to ensure that the powerful weapon did not fall into the wrong hands once again.

As they searched the cave, their eyes fell upon the gleaming sword, still resting in its stone pedestal. Kai reached out to touch it, but before she could, Ben stumbled over a loose stone on the ground. As he fell, his hand brushed against a strange symbol etched into the cave wall.

Suddenly, a blinding light filled the cave, and Ben and Kai felt themselves being pulled through time and space. When the light faded, they found themselves standing in the grand hall of King Arthur's court.

Arthur himself stood before them, his eyes wide with shock as he beheld the two strangers who had appeared out of thin air. Merlin, his wise advisor, stood by his side, his gaze sharp and calculating.

"What sorcery is this?" Arthur demanded, his hand instinctively reaching for the hilt of his own Excalibur.

Ben and Kai exchanged a bewildered glance before Kai spoke up. "We come in peace, King Arthur. We are travelers from a distant land, and we seek only to ensure the safety of Excalibur."

Arthur's brow furrowed in confusion. "But there is only one Excalibur, and it rests in the stone, waiting for the true king to claim it."

Ben and Kai looked at each other, realizing the gravity of the situation. The spell they had activated had somehow created a duplicate of Excalibur, and now there were two swords in the court of King Arthur.

Merlin stepped forward, his eyes glittering with curiosity. "This is indeed a strange turn of events. Perhaps there is a reason for your arrival here. Tell me, travelers, what is your purpose in seeking Excalibur?"

Ben took a deep breath, his mind racing with possibilities. "We seek to protect Excalibur from those who would misuse its power. We have seen firsthand the destruction it can cause in the wrong hands, and we cannot allow that to happen again."

Arthur studied them for a moment before nodding in understanding. "I sense that you speak the truth, travelers. If you wish to help safeguard Excalibur, then I welcome your aid."

And so, Ben 10 and Kai Green found themselves embroiled in a new adventure, working alongside King Arthur and Merlin to protect Excalibur and ensure that it remained in the hands of those who would use its power wisely. As they stood in the grand hall of Camelot, surrounded by knights and courtiers, they knew that their journey was far from over. But with Excalibur by their side, they were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
