[Samuel's POV]

As the shattered remains of the rhino monster scattered, I glanced over to Amelia, her face pale with fear and awe. Her trembling hands rested over Dylan, still offering him a healing potion despite how much she hated him.

"Amelia," I called out, moving toward her. "Why are you acting like this? You hate him, don't you? So why are you worried about someone like Dylan?"

She flinched slightly at my words, her gaze darting to the rest of her team. Her teammates—Aisha, Kaya, and Neo—wore similar expressions of confusion.

They knew as well as I did that this wasn't like her. Amelia never forgave easily, let alone showed concern for someone she had openly detested.

Hell, she has not even talked to me for two years now, whom she considers her brother.

"Dylan... he saved me," she murmured, her voice soft but resolute. "He took the rhino's attack for me… He protected me when I was about to get hit. Isn't that enough reason?"
