Vladimir:

I smiled when I saw my mate walking down the stairs wearing a blue dress.

Her eyes met mine, and though she blushed, I knew that she was more than a little happy about how she looked. Her heart raced as the two of us looked at one another, and taking her hand in mine, I gently brought it to my lips, gently kissing her knuckle. It was a manner that I quickly learned she liked. If anything, it made her feel special, and that was the main target that I had, to make her feel special, and understand what she meant to me.

"You look beautiful," I said, complimenting her, keeping in mind to keep my eyes on hers, letting her look me in the eye, see that I was telling her the truth, allowing her to read my expression as I did.

"Thank you," she said, looking down at her feet as she tried to avoid my eyes, I wouldn't have expected any less from her, though. It was such manners, a small action like this one, that made her more special to me.
