Aubree was walking down the corridor looking for Lord Cletus and Tristan. As she walks, she walks pass the healers room and see the fairy in the bed. She looked at the fairy like she recognized her, but her face was still swollen. She continue to walk when she see Tristan talking to the smart mouth vamp. She raises her eyebrow and smirks as she walks over to them, "Tristan just the Dragon I was looking for". Tristan turns around and see Aubree standing there smiling. He hugs her, " Aubree it's nice to see you've made it". " You know I was coming as soon as possible". She walks over to Malik, "It's nice to see you again vamp, are you going to tell me your name now?". Malik turns his nose up at her, " Listen here witch, you may be a guest here, but I don't have to associate myself with you". Aubree laughs and looks at Tristan, " Can you believe him, and I was trying to be nice", as she smiled. " Tristan when you get a chance, I need a word with you," then she walks into the library. Tristan turns to Malik, " Why are you so mean to her?" "She's a pain in the ass and very rude". Tristan laughs, Well that's Aubree, you will get use to her". " I don't have to get to know her, she's not my guest, I just have to be cordial to her". Tristan laughs again, "You know Malik, she is Queen Razels second in command and very powerul, once she has her sights set on someone, she usually gets them, be careful old friend", then he walks in the library.
Lynia and Alora was still sitting on bed, Alora was lost deep in her thoughts, thinking about what Aubree just told her. Lynia stands up, " Come Alora, I have to go to Lady Cassandra chambers, and you have to finish your class for today". "Mother, I need to have a word with you, please?" "Walk with me, we can talk and walk". As we walked down the corridor to Cassandra's chamber, I ask my mother the first question, " Mother, when you met father, did you have feelings for him?" Mother smiles, she has so much love in her eyes when she talks about father. "I knew your father was special from the first time I laid eyes on him. I always felt a pull towards him and the spark. Once I turned 18, it seemed like a veil was lifted off my eyes, he was so handsome. So your answer is yes, I did have feelings for him before I was 18, but I thought it was a crush". We stop at Cassandra's chambers, she looks at me, " We will finish this conversation later, I have duties to do". I smile at her, " Oh mother,I will see you later", then I walk away.
Back in the Library
Tristan walks over to Aubree who is now reading a book in the corner. "You wanted a word with me Aubree?" Aubree turn around and close the book, " Tristan, first of all that Jackson wanted me to tell you and King Titus that King Morton requested my presence too. Tristan he knows about Alora and who she is". Aubree do we have time to train her?" " We will have until her 18th birthday, he wants her when her powers are mature". Tristan lets out a sigh, "We should have had her trained sooner, Lynia and I knew someone would want her power". Aubree looks at him, " No matter what, they would have to get through me first, to get her, and you know that would be difficult". She puts her hand on his shoulder," She's my niece, my family, and you know how I protect my family." Now, she says as she start smiling, "Tell me about your friend that you was just outside talking too".
I was walking to meet Sorsha, I kept thinking about everything that happened over the past couple of days. I wish everything was back to normal, I'm so tired of all the surprises my family keep telling me. I was so lost in thought that I bumped into someone and fell flat on my butt. When I looked up, I seen the dragon who arrived yesterday. He reaches down to help me up, I instantly snatch away, " I'm ok, I should've been watching where I was going". He smiles and grabs my arm, " Let me help you beautiful". As he help me up, Dez comes from around the corner, " Max why the hell are you touching her?" The guy turn around, "I was just helping ms. clumsy up", as he laughs. Dez laughs, " You was just about to lose an arm". I raise my eyebrow, " Excuse me, i'm not clumsy, and why would he lose an arm? And who is he?" Dez laughs and turns to me, " Calm down green eyes, this is my best friend and fourth in command Max". Max steps forward and kiss my hand, " Nice to meet you green eyes". Dez shoots him a look, " Her name is Alora, I'm the only one that calls her that". Max start to laugh harder, " Relax man, I'm just messing with you, I know her name", as he walked away. I look at Dez, " What was that all about"? " Nothing, he just was being Max". He look at me with his gentle eyes, " So, did you ask your parents about going to beach?" "No not yet, I have been kinda busy this morning, but I will be sure to ask when I see them again". "Well if it's going to be difficult, bring Sorsha and I will bring Max, at least they could keep each other company". "I will have a conversation with Sorsha, i'm on my way to meet with her now, I will let you know a little later", then I walk away. When I reach the class, I snuck in, it was almost over with. When class was over, Sorsha and I was walking to the kitchen to grab a snack, " Hey Sorsha, I wanted to ask you for a favor". She smirks as if she knew what I was about to ask, " Does it have anything to do with Dez?" I instantly started blushing, dam, just hearing his name make me blush, I need to know if this is just a crush. " Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't, why must you always tease me?" She stop walking, " It's just payback from me hitting the floor this morning", then she start laughing. " You work my nerves so much, yes it has to do with Dez. He want to meet me at the beach after my duties, but it will be after dark. I was wondering if you would come? It would be easier for me to go there if you came too." Sorsha start back walking, " I don't think I could stand there and listen to you two confess your love to each other", she says teasingly. "Well, ummm....Dez said he would invite his friend Max to keep you company. Please Sorsha, just do me this one favor". "Ok Alora, but you owe me et caught, i'm blaming you for everything", as she roll her eyes.
The day went on as usual, I was so excited about going to the beach tonight. I seen Dez and told him that we would meet Max and him at the beach. I had a talk with Sorsha as we sat in the garden, I told her just about everything except about Aubree being my aunt and the prophecy. She always seem excited by the unfortunate events that's been happening in my life the last couple of days. I guess any excitement around here is better than none. We finish our conversation, and begin to walk back to the castle. When we reached the castle, I told Sorsha I would bring dinner up to her, so she went to her chambers to wait. As I was walking to the kitchen, I walked past the healer wing. I peek in and see Lord Cletus and my father in there. The fairy was awake and they was trying to question her. She was mumbling something, but I was too far to hear her. I was about to move close so I could hear, and Marcel walked up and startled me. She grabs my arm and pull me away from the door, " It's not nice to eavesdrop Alora", she whispers. "Forgive me Marcel, I was only..." "Its ok Alora, just go before your father see you". I quickly walk away, I wonder what's going on. When I reached the kitchen I grabbed the rabbit blood and some cookies that Marcel made, then hurry to Sorshas chamber. We sat on her bed eating, drinking and talking, then it was time to go meet Dez and Max. We had to get past everyone first, then we had to get to the beach without being seen. Sorsha had a good idea, we could go out the east side of the castle and use our super speed to get to the beach. When we reached the beach, the sun had started to set, and it was so beautiful. Sorsha started talking as we watched the sunset, talking about the colors and how romantic it was. We sat there waiting on Dez and Max, we heard a noise coming out of the woods. As we turn around, we seen the trees moving and felt the ground shaking. "Sorsha we need to get out of here", I whisper, at that moment we heard a growl and a troll came out the clearing baring its teeth. It came running toward us, we both start screaming, I couldn't think right. Its like my brain and body isn't cooperating with each other. The ground was shaking so hard with every step it took getting closer to us. Right when it reached us, and raised its hand, a orb of water started hovering over the troll. My mouth dropped, what the hell is that, I thought. The orb started moving fast and hit the troll with such force it fell back. It got back up and started roaring in anger and tried to attack again. This time the orb was much bigger than before, and it looked like it was going to hit the troll but it enguled it. The orb flew in the air with the troll, as it tries to escape. The troll was squirming around in the orb of water, I could see it gasping for air, then it stops moving.
