“Hey, dude. You’re alright?”

Seeing that he was silent was too long, Dani couldn’t help asking out of worry.

He slightly paused. When he looked at the reflection on the glass and saw that his friends were all staring at him, he softly sighed. Then, he turned around to meet their gazes.

“I’ve decided.”

His serene voice made everyone silent. Perhaps, it was because Joke’s gaze and tone were of the utmost seriousness.

“So?” Madame Fon said with a smile.

“I… will sign the contract.”

The silence continued on in the room. Others could only turn to each other in slight surprise, partly because they didn’t expect to hear that word from Joke within such a short time!

“Are you sure?” Dani asked. “Did you think it through? Other people’s contracts are just three years. Yours is the only long-term one. It’s five years, you know?”

Joke showed a faint smile at those words before walking to his friends, who were gathering at the sofa set.
