“Mmhmm. I’ll have to carefully make that decision. Those two are great in their own way, and they were vice-captains in their own teams too. Rin’s good point is that she’s kind and nurturing, while Fier is very ambitious. As leaders, they have their own kind of strength.”

“Think carefully, sister. The person you choose might take up your mantle and become the next captain of our national women’s team,” the jovial man teased.

Feuangfa responded with an understanding smile. Of course, this would not just affect the Olympics, but also the National World Cup would be held every four years as well. The next one would occur two years later, and perhaps she would have retired from being a national athlete by then.

“It’s a shame. Shining Muffin’s top players all refused to come. Otherwise, the selection process would’ve gone a lot easier,” Merlin shrugged.
