The taxi driver delivered Erwin to the Oak Bay Service Department. Stepping out of the car, Erwin dragging two bulky cases, seemed lost. Fortunately, after a few paces, he reached the Oak Bay Community Service Department.
"I'll ask inside, who knows if Adam has arranged it for me yet."
Thinking of this, Erwin dragged the cases into the service department, not expecting to encounter two familiar faces.
The couple was Rose and her rich, handsome boyfriend, seemingly to have just completed a house purchase and readying to leave, but they spotted Erwin entering with his suitcases.
"Erwin, why are you here?" Rose looked puzzled, while Sam Jones's mouth curled slightly, relishing an opportunity to flaunt before Erwin.
Erwin, seeing Rose and Sam , furrowed his brow slightly; it seemed Sam had indeed taken Rose to buy a house here.
"Erwin, what a coincidence, why come to Oak Bay? You wouldn't be staking Rose, right?!" Sam remarked with a tinge of sarcasm.
"You're overthinking; I'm moving here," Erwin responded indifferently.
At that moment, Rose and Sam noticed indeed Erwin was here with his luggage.
"Erwin, planning to rent here? You know the rent's not cheap, and without a job, you can't afford to stay," Rose said scornfully.
"What is it to you if I can't afford it?" Erwin replied coldly.
"It's none of my concern, but you should stop following me; we're worlds apart now." Rose surmised Erwin moved here to watch her closely, so to discourage him,she flaunted her LV bag, the deed to her home saying, "Notice this, the LV bag worth million, the Oak Bay house for 1.6 billion, these are luxuries you'll never afford."
Sam's smirk grew as he recollect that Erwin had annoyingly spent a money pervious night, now he had the chance to gloat, a felling of triumph took hold of him.
"Poor boy, observe well, this is capability; without money, don't pretend in front of others."
After his speech, Sam embraced Rose, ready to depart victoriously. However, Caesar Martin, the department manager after sighting Erwin, exhaled relievedly.
The general manager had personally instructed him to warmly receive a VIP named Erwin and accommodate him in Top -class garden villa in Oak Bay. A mistake would mean dismissal, and the general manager had sent Erwin's photo as well.
So all day, Caesar the department manager, anxiously awaited Erwin's arrival. When Erwin finnally appeared, confirming his identity with the photo , Caesar had no doubt and respectfully greeted Erwin.
"Mr. Smith, I'm the manager of the Oak Bay Service Department. A Crown Villa has been prepared for you, please follow me."
"Mm." Erwin nodded slightly, as if it was all but expected.
But Rose and Sam stood agape disbelieving at hearing this.
"Oak Bay Crown Villa,at least one hundred sixty billion? Is this pauper really staying there?" At first triumphant, Sam was now dumb struck.
And Rose, in disbelief, wondered how Erwin, who couldn't even pay his rent, was able to live in the Crown Villa.
