She peered up at him, taking pleasure in the way he looked at her, as if he wanted to pounce and never let go.

"I thought you were going to keep kissing me," she said.

"Oh, I am."

He bent his head and sealed his lips over hers. No hesitation whatsoever. Her toes curled, and she wound her arms around him, wanting to get closer.
