章節 9: Strange Irony

Edward and Adam is having a long talk with each other. Adam who initially view Edward in bad light, change his mind as he interact with Edward more and more.

"So yeah, I basically died back then for a 'noble' cause, or something like that. My mom must've been real sad that I died earlier than her, but the same could be said the other way around." Edward start telling his life story to Adam at some point in their discussion.

"We've both died once before. Though mine is a bit... embarrassing to talk about." Adam scratched the back of his head, showing an embarrassed expression on his face.

"I smell stupidity in the air." Edward pretend to sniff the air.

"Fuck you." Adam chuckled.

"I'll tell you, then. Don't laugh." Adam fixed his gaze on Edward. He took a deep breath and open his mouth to speak.

"I die because I dried my nuts beating my meat to Black Widow." Adam tried to control his facial expression.

"Pfft!" Edward sputtered.

"Pfft!" Followed by Adam.

Then everyone in the hospital heard the loud laughter of two people.

"Both of you! This is a hospital! Not a comedy theatre!" A nurse barged into Adam's ward and reprimanded the two people inside.

"Sor...ry... We...eee... wo... won't...do...that...ag...ag...again" Edward's face became beet red as he tried really hard to hold in his laugh. The same goes to Adam. His cheeks were puffed up like a balloon, and he rolled in his lips, pressing them tight with his teeth.

The nurse glare at the two of them for a while before closing the door again.

"Man, that's stupid." Edward wiped his tear from laughing too much with his index finger. He took a deep breath, and clear his head from stupid and distracting imagination.

"Ugh, why did I even tell you that?" Adam is starting to regret sharing the cause of his death.

"That's the reason you got sent to this Marvel Universe, huh!" Edward nodded his head several times in understanding. His theory, people from Primordial Earth would be sent to appropriate world after dying, and reincarnate in it.

Primordial Earth according to [Akashic Record] is a special world located in a special universe surrounded and chained by unique sets of runes. No one in the whole Xenoverse can forcefully enter Primordial Universe without permission from the Will of Xenoverse. But, people who lives in Primordial Earth can reincarnate into the worlds within Xenoverse.

The Primordial Universe is located outside of the XenoVerse as well, just like Edward's world where he reincarnated into. The Ultra Dimension as he decide to call.

Although Primordial Universe also exist outside the XenoVerse, there are massive difference between Primordial Universe and Ultra Dimension fundamentally. For example, the count of {World Rule}.

The count of {World Rule} acting on Primordial Earth is 497,734 rules. While the count of {World Rule} acting on Ultra Dimension is 1.97 billion rules. Massive difference.

"Actually, the movies back on Earth is quite accurate and most of the events would follow the plot. I took advantage of that information, and the system's assistance and manage to reach this point." Adam spoke with his eyes closed, leaning on the raised ward bet.
