"Hello, hello" said Lia with a smile as she knocked on the open door of Dom's home office as he looked up from his laptop and he smiled.
"Hello Lia" said Dom as he smiled and Lia waked into his office and she sat down across him.
"You work too much Dom" said Lia as she smiled.
"That's because I need to work" said Dom.
"What's up?" asked Dom as he smiled, actually he didn't know that Lia was here since she didn't come to see him, but Alfred told him that she came to see Natasha.
"Oh nothing much, Natasha and I were talking, and also I helped Joy made Valentine's day cards for her class that she has to take to school tomorrow" said Lia as she smiled.
"That's nice" said Dom as he smiled and he typed on his laptop.
"Hey, do you have anything planned for Valentine's day tomorrow?" asked Lia as she smiled.
"No I even forgot that tomorrow was Valentine's day, honestly I have so much work right now to care about that" said Dom.
"Awww how about we all go out tomorrow, you me and Joy, I asked Natasha if she wanted to come along, but she refused, just like you she says that she is busy" said Lia.
"Sorry to bring down your hopes Lia, but I am busy, I can't go anywhere, tomorrow's not technically a public holiday" said Dom.
"So you are not going to go out with me?" asked Lia with a frown.
"Not a chance Lia, why don't you ask one of the guys? I am sure that they will have some free time" said Dom.
"But I don't want to go out with them, I want to go out with you" said Lia.
"Touching Lia, very touching, but I can't maybe next time" said Dom.
"Oh you are so unfair Dom" said Lia.
"I am sorry if you think that I am, but I truly can't go out" said Dom.
"You are a meanie" said Lia as she frowned.
"And you are a child, oh liven up Lia, It's not the ned of the world" said Dom as he looked up from his laptop screen and he looked at Lia's face as he laughed.
"You know what fine, but you owe me" said Lia.
"Whatever you say" said Dom as he laughed.
"You know Natasha and I were talking and…" said Lia as she took a pause.
"And what?" asked Dom as he looked at her.
"Well nothing" said Lia.
"Did she say anything about me to you?" asked Dom.
"Well not directly per se, but you know, she hates this holiday because of you know what" said Lia as Dom didn't need Lia to explain what 'you know what' was, because he remembered too well what it was.
"Let me guess, she said that she hates me" said Dom.
"You know that she does?" asked Lia.
"It's obvious from her words and actions" said Dom.
"And how does that make you feel?" asked Lia.
"Honestly it's…" said Dom as he was cut off when Joy suddenly ran into his office.
"Daddy!!, Daddy" said Joy as she excitedly ran into Dom's office with a huge smile on her face and she ran to his desk.
"Well hello princess" said Dom as he smiled and he carried her on his lap.
"What can I do for you princess?" asked Dom as he smiled and Lia smiled.
"Daddy, Alfred just bought some ice cream, can I have some?" asked Joy as she giggled and Dom laughed, of course he should have known that his princess would have only gotten this excited for some sweet treats.
"Well let's see, did you ask your mommy first princess?" asked Dom.
"Well no daddy, I came to ask you" said Joy as she smiled sweetly and Lia laughed.
"Nice one princess, but you are not going to get me in trouble with your mommy for letting you have sweet things before dinner" said Dom as he could see his little princess playing a game here, she knew that her mother would have said no, and hence why she came to him first, but he would not play into her hands, he had learnt his lesson several times.
"But daddy…" said Joy.
"You have to go and ask your mommy first princess, and then if she says yes, then you are free to have some ice cream, but if she says no, then no ice cream today" said Dom as Joy frowned.
"Don't frown my princess, tell me, what do you think that your mommy will say?" asked Dom as he smiled.
"No" said Joy.
"Yes, no, and why would she say no?" asked Dom.
"Because no sweet things before dinner" said Joy.
"You know the rules princess, please don't get me into trouble with your mommy" said Dom as he smiled and Joy sighed.
"Okay daddy, fine" said Joy.
"That's my girl" said Dom as he poked Joy's nose and she giggled.
"It's almost dinner time, why don't you go eat an apple" said Dom as he smiled.
"Okay daddy" said Joy as she smiled and she nodded as Dom put her down and she ran out of his office.
"Joy is so sweet" said Lia as she smiled.
"Yes, that is true, but she can be a handful, especially when she knows why she can't have something and she still wants to test if she can somehow get it" said Dom as he laughed and he shook his head, in the past he would have easily given her anything that she wanted, but that would do her no good, he was starting to learn that children always wanted to test their limits and if you were lenient with them and gave them no limits, they would end up growing up spoilt, and he didn't want to spoil his princess, and Natasha wouldn't let him spoil her for as long as she was alive, she was the one that was very strict with bedtimes and diets and play time like that, if Natasha had left Joy with him all the time, Dom wouldn't have such a balanced schedule like that.
"That's cute" said Lia as she laughed.
"No not cute, it's called being naughty and trying to get your father into trouble with your mother who already doesn't like him" said Dom as Lia laughed.
"Oh you are a good father Dom, many men can't raise a child half as good as you do" said Lia."
"You say it like I raise Joy alone, the truth is that Joy is as well behaved as she is because of Natasha" said Dom as he smiled.
"I cannot argue with that, it's like Natasha was born to be a mother" said Lia as she laughed.
"Anyway are you staying for dinner?" asked Dom as he smiled.
"Ahh no, I would love to, but I can't, I have to get home my dad needs me to do something for him, in fact, I should start going now" said Lia as she smiled and she stood up.
"Well alright then, have a safe drive back home" said Dom as he smiled and Lia smiled at him.
"I will Dom, see you later, and you owe me" said Lia as she laughed and Dom laughed as he shook his head and Lia walked out of his office with a smile.

The next morning.
"My baby, come on hurry up, you don't want to be late, your daddy is waiting for you in the dining room" said Natasha as she folded some clothes into Joy's closet and Joy put on her school shoes as Natasha handed her schoolbag to her.
"I will go now Mommy" said Joy as she smiled and Natasha smiled at her as Joy walked out of her room and down the stairs as he walked past the dining room into the kitchen where breakfast was being made and she saw Alfred who was watching breakfast being made.
"Good Morning Alfred" said Joy as she smiled.
"Good Morning Joy, do you need anything?" asked Alfred with a smile as Joy shook her head and she brought out a card from her backpack.
"Happy Valentine's day Alfred" said Joy as she smiled and she handed him the glitter filled card as he took it from her and he smiled as he could feel tears welling up in his eyes, but he did not cry.
"Oh thank you Joy, this looks so wonderful, thank you" said Alfred as he smiled and Joy smiled at him.
"Okay Alfred, I am getting late now, see you later" said Joy with a smile.
"See you" said Alfred as he smiled and Joy walked out the kitchen into the dining room.
"Good Morning daddy" said Joy as she sat down beside her father and he poured her some juice.
"Good Morning princess" said Dom as he smiled.
"Happy Valentine's day" said Joy as Dom smiled.
"Happy valentine's day princess" said Dom as he smiled.
"But if we don't eat soon we are going to be late, so let's eat" said Dom as he smiled and Joy nodded her head as she ate some of her toast.

"Good Morning Miss Honey" said Joy as she walked into the classroom.
"Good Morning Joy" said Jennifer as she smiled.
"Happy Valentine's day" said Joy as she put her card on Jennifer's desk.
"Thank you Joy, happy Valentine's day to you as well" said Jennifer as she handed Joy a card and Joy smiled as she waved at Clarita, Leon and Prince as they were sitting on their table.
"Hello" said Joy as she smiled and she sat down on her seat.
"Hello Joy" said Leon, Prince and Clarita with a smile.
"Happy Valentine's day" said all of them at the same time as they all laughed and exchanged cards.
"Thank you for the cards, what do they say?" asked Joy as she smiled.
"Mine says, happy valentine's day Joy, I am happy that we are friends" said Clarita as she smiled.
"What does yours say?" she asked.
"Mine says, happy valentine's day Clarita, I love you" said Joy as she giggled and Clarita giggled as well.
"I love you too Joy" said Clarita as she giggled.
"Mine says thank you all for being my friends, happy Valentine's day" said Leon as he smiled.
"Aww that's nice" said Clarita and Joy as they smiled.
"Mine says that, you are very lucky to have me as your friend, happy Valentine's day" said Prince with a smug smile on his face as Leon sighed and shook his head and Clarita and Joy laughed.

"Alright children, I am sure that you were all helped by your parents, your sisters or brothers to cut out your cards" said Jennifer as she smiled and the children nodded.
"And I am sure that they also taught you have dangerous playing with scissors are, and also how to use scissors correctly" said Jennifer as all the children nodded.
"And that is why today, we are going to learn how to use scissors, since we will need to cut out some things" said Jennifer as she smiled.
"Clarita, Joy come and take these scissors from me and give them to all your classmates" said Jennifer as she had two boxes of scissors in her hands.
"Yes Miss Honey" said Joy and Clarita as they smiled and they took the box of scissors from her as they started to give all their classmates.
"Over here, I have drawn different shapes, and you all have to cut out the shapes nicely, this is some good practice for your hands getting firm with scissors, and if you accidentally cut through a shape, it is no worry, you can try again" said Jennifer as she gave them all a paper filled with different shapes.
"But first, you all watch me and see how I do it" said Jennifer as she took a pair of scissors that were big and she held the paper in her hand as she started to cut through it.
"Gently and slowly just like this, do not rush, and mind your fingers, alright?" asked Jennifer.
"Yes Miss Honey" said the children as they nodded.
"Good, now you all try" said Jennifer as she smiled.

"Yes, I see, no it's no worry at all, I will get my secretary to reschedule, you do not have to worry, we can have the meeting another day, there is no rush at all" said Dom as he smiled and he was talking on the phone as he saw Joy come out of the school and she caught sight of him as she waved goodbye to Jennifer and she ran to her father.
"Yes, recover well" said Dom as he smiled.
"Yes happy Valentine's day to you too" said Dom as he smiled and he ended the call.
"Hello princess" said Dom as he smiled and he carried Joy.
"Hello Daddy" said Joy as she giggled.
"How was school today?" asked Dom as he smiled.
"Good, we learnt how to use scissors" said Joy as she giggled.
"I hope that you didn't cut yourself?" asked Dom as he smiled and Joy shook her head as he put her in her car seat and he entered the car and he started the car.
"Princess, a meeting with an important client was cancelled today, how about we go out to celebrate Valentine's day?" asked Dom as he smiled.
"Yayy yes daddy, let's go out, you me and mommy" said Joy as Dom smiled.
"Princess, I don't think that your mommy would want to come along with us" said Dom as he smiled.
"Did you ask her?" asked Joy.
"Well no" said Dom.
"Well then we have to ask her" said Joy as she giggled.
"Alright princess you are right" said Dom as he laughed.

Dom knocked on the door of Natasha's office as he heard her say come in.
"Natasha, Joy and I are going out, do you want to come along?" asked Dom as he entered into Natasha's office and Natasha did not look at him at all as she continued to look at her laptop.
"I can't I'm busy" replied Natasha simply.
"Alright then, Joy and I should be back by 6pm" said Dom.
"Alright" said Natasha.
"Is she allowed to have sweet things?" asked Dom.
"Well let's see, she is going out with you, and this is a once in a while thing, so yes, but just not too much sugar, I don't want her getting a tummy ache" said Natasha.
"Alright" said Dom.
"Oh and no spicy food please, I noticed that Joy can't handle spicy food" said Natasha.
"Don't worry, she won't have any, we are just going to the park, and then to have dinner out, if you don't mind" said Dom.
"Not at all" said Natasha.
"Alright then" said Dom.
"Daddy I'm ready" said Joy as she ran into Natasha's office and Dom smiled at her.
"Mommy how do I look?" asked Joy as she smiled.
"You look good my baby, I like your jeans" said Natasha as she smiled and Joy giggled.
"Mommy, daddy and I are going out, do you want to come with us?" asked Joy as she smiled.
"Oh my baby, I'm sorry, I can't I have some work to do, but you and your daddy have fun okay" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Aww okay mommy" said Joy as Natasha smiled at her.
"Be good, and don't eat too many sweets" said Natasha as she stood up and she gave Joy a kiss on the forehead as Joy giggled.
"Okay Mommy, I will and have fun" said Joy.
"I will baby, I will" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Come on princess, let's go now" said Dom as he smiled and Joy held his hand as she waved at Natasha and Natasha smiled at her as she dialed a number on her phone.
"Yes Chloe, I changed my mind, I am not coming to the office this afternoon, you can go home as well, it's Valentine's day" said Natasha as she laughed.
"I will see you tomorrow, enjoy your evening" said Natasha as she smiled and she ended the call as she suddenly heard her phone beep as she got a text and she smiled when she saw who it was.
"Are you free?" came Pete's text as Natasha smiled as she thought for a while until she replied.
"Hmm, I'm free" she replied.
"You want to go out?" came Pete's reply.
"Depends on where you want to take me son of the law" replied Natasha.
"I know you will love where I want to take you" replied Pete.
"How are you so sure?" replied Natasha.
"Are you going out with me or not?" replied Pete.
"Alright fine, I'm bored over here at home" replied Natasha.
"Great, I'll come and pick you at home in 30 minutes" replied Pete.
"I'll be waiting" said Natasha as she put her phone down and she shut down her laptop, she wondered where Pete was going to take her.
