James sounded like an asshole, right. He is not. He just believed that he could get me to leave Endless Glamour and lead the creative company he wanted to start. 

"Nice to see you too, James. How is your new business venture?" 

He spread his hands in invitation and I went in for a hug. "We need you there. As CEO and not a senior staff member."

"Hello, James. This is not your wife," Lucas broke our hug with his accusation.

 James quickly turned to him. "Lucas! Everyone said you were back but I've not seen you." 

The guys hugged like old friends. 

"Lucas. This is Brittany, my soon-to-be partner," said James.
