Joshua sat right on the side. "Why did you have to lie that you were okay while you were not?" He hissed so loudly.
They almost got to the town their grandfather had prepared for them for their honeymoon. They had a vacation house right there, so having their honeymoon there would be easier.
Even though the honeymoon meant nothing to him, he had to pretend to maintain peace and harmony in their family and convince his grandfather that they were getting along.
Claire's eyes opened slowly, and she realised that she was on the extreme end. She touched her forehead while she tried to remember what had happened. "You are awake." Joshua, who was sitting close to her, stated. She remembered she was feeling pain and then collapsed.
She didn't bother to reply to him. "What was wrong with me?" She wanted to know the reason why her tummy was hurting her that way.
"The doctor said he didn't know the reason yet. It's difficult to detect and may require hospital testing." He informed her. She knew how much she agreed with the hospital.
"No! There is no need for you to do all of that. When I was feeling that way, I went to the hospital. There was nothing found about me. It turned out that I do act that way most of the time, and it was actually nothing." She answered him, and then he burst out into laughter.
"What's funny?" She rolled her eyes.
"Funny? It does look as if you were lying to me, but I didn't know if I was wrong. Since you said it was nothing, you can just rest there. I will let the doctor know what you have just said." He whispered in her ear, so she could go to sleep at that moment.
"We are almost at our destination. I had been sleeping since." She stood up and went to the main jet compartment, where she could normally sit down.
"Please, if you feel uncomfortable, let us know about it." The nurse who questioned her the other time told her what to do. It just happened that they were really worried about her and how Joshua's grandfather would react once he discovered something like that.
"We are arriving at the airport." The pilot informed everyone. They had to fasten their seat belts again while the jet went down from the sky.
They both woke up in their separate rooms. Their vacation home had plenty of space, and no one was watching.
They were both allowed to have their privacy since it was their honeymoon. Claire and Joshua felt that it was going to be very easy for both of them to avoid themselves as much as they wanted to.
Claire woke up that morning and decided she was going to cook. Joshua was already in the kitchen, using all the space.
"What are you cooking?" Her morning voice interrupted whatever he was doing right now in the kitchen.
"Bagels and cream cheese." He answered her. She rubbed her hand against her forehead. Even though she was not good at cooking due to the kind of family that she was brought up in,.
"I guess I am just going to cook my food alone." She told him.
"Once I am done, I will let you know." He informed her.
"I am damn hungry now. I must eat now or else something awful might happen to me." She complained with her hands folded, right below her boobs.
"I woke up so I could eat quickly. I bet you will have to wait for me to be done. If you are starving, you should have gotten out of bed a little bit earlier." He made it obvious to her.
"You should prepare your own with it also. I will go and work out at the gym right now." She walked out of the kitchen and then found her way to the gun after she had already put on her gym outfit, which really looked good on her.
She entered the little gym room that was right in the vacation room and then started working out right there immediately.
The bagels start their journey in boiling water, which gives them their distinctive crusty exterior and chewy interior. Once the bagels have been boiled, they're then baked to perfection in the oven until they're a beautiful golden brown. Cream cheese, on the other hand, is a smooth, creamy spread made from milk, cream, and cheese cultures.
He learned how to make it from Ann back then, when his mother died, and he was trying to find every means to move. He started doing a lot of things that could help him move in with his mother.
Some worked for him, and some didn't. The fact that he was making food made him remember his mother. He was done making food already.
He then dished out his food, along with Claire's, since she had requested it. He walked to the gym to let him know that the goods were already ready.
He saw her doing squats while he swallowed his saliva right there. He knew that she had the perfect body that he had always wished for. He cleared his throat to let her know that he was already there.
She got scared immediately when she saw him, and he chuckled. "Was I that scared? What the hell is wrong with you?" He said it with a little chuckle.
She gave him a glance and then walked past him. "I just came to inform you that the food is ready." He told her, and she paused.
"I will quickly take my bath. Once I am done, I will come and eat." She excused herself and then went into her room to take a bath.
Joshua didn't bother to stress himself, and he just left her food there, not caring if it was going to run cold or not. He just covered it; that was all that he did.
