章節 243: This Is Enough

"It's kind of hard to explain. I can show you if we get out of the car. I need to inspect my popped tire anyway," Ava said with a sigh. She had never changed a tire in her life but she did have the equipment to in the trunk. 

She got out of the car and took a look at the damage. The left rear tire was partially gone. The rubber remains blew across to the other side of the highway. Putting the spare on should get her home but she had no idea how to do it. And then she would have to buy another tire when she had barely done that. What had she run over to make this happen? 

She let out an even heavier sigh and slumped against the side of her car in defeat. She had the worst luck. 

"Ava? Do you still need a hug?" Zeldris asked as he eyed her warily. He obviously didn't know how to deal with these sorts of emotions. It made her wonder what emotions demons actually did experience.
