章節 16: Want me to teach you? (9)
I was startled when I heard the phone in my hand ring! Crap! Busted! Still not giving up, I smiled, "How did you know Mi-Ju's number? I didn't know you guys are close?" I stupidly said while smiling innocently. He ended the call while staring at me.
"I will give you 30 mins to take a shower and get dressed, if not you wouldn't want to know what I will do to you." He said while still wearing that cute but scary smile. I was about to open my mouth to protest that 30 mins are too short when he sharply looked at me.
"25. If you try to say some nonsense I will turn it to 15 mins and let see how I will deal with you!" He said then he smirked at me. I shut my mouth and hurriedly went to my room to take a shower and get dressed.
I brushed my teeth and took a shower in a hurry. I didn't have time to take a relaxing bath and just hastily took a shower, a cold one at that. I didn't have time to think about what to wear and just pick up a pair of black denim ripped jeans with a gray crop tee and decided that I will wear my fave OK Basketball W to complete the look. I didn't have time to blow dry my hair and just went out of my room and stood in front of the smiling devil.
"Okay, I'm finished with a few minutes to spare!" I said while feeling a little short of breath from all the rushing that I did. Not even realizing I haven't even brushed my hair! He looked at me and he looks displeased somehow! What is he getting angry about when he's the one that told me to rush!?
"Are you a child!? Why didn't you dry your hair properly? You will get sick if you don't dry it!" He holds my hand and charged towards my room and made me sit in front of my vanity mirror.
"Where's your fresh towels and hairdryer?" He looked at me and started looking for a towel in my drawer! "Hey! That's my drawer! Don't just rummage through it! That's not where I store my extra towels!" I shouted at him, how can I not be flustered? That's the drawer where I keep my underwear! I rushed over before he has the chance to see anything!
"Here's the towel and hairdryer, now don't just raid a girl's closet! Pervert!" I told him off. He just glared at me when I said he was a pervert, and made me sat down again. He plugged the dryer and set the temperature and started blow drying my hair.
After drying my hair he looked at me in the mirror or rather his work on my hair and he smiled as if satisfied with the effort he made in fixing my hair. He looked at my crop tee and he slightly frowned.
"I think your shirt is too short." When he said that he went to my closet and started picking from my clothes. I looked at my crop tee. How is this short? I think it's pretty modest and even long enough to cover my belly button, the only time my belly will show is if I raise my arms which I won't always do.
He looked at one of my shirts in the closet, smiled and picked a black t-shirt and removed it from the hanger and gave it to me. "Here, wear this." After saying that he left my room and I changed. The shirt he picked was long enough that even if I raise my arms and jumped it will not show any skin.
When I looked in the mirror I just realized that this shirt is one of the graphic tees that I bought before but haven't been worn even once! The message on this shirt is 'He's mine, Got a Problem!?' I bought this before since I thought it would be nice if I got myself a boyfriend and when we're on a date I will wear it. But alas, life is harsh and I haven't snagged me a boyfriend as of this day. I was reserving this for my future boyfriend!
I was about to go to my closet to look for another shirt or even a sweater when I heard the door open and Minghao's head popped in. I was caught red-handed looking in my closet! He frowned at me, "What are you doing? If you don't hurry up we will be late." He said while staring intently at me.
"I'm almost done I will just change my top to a sweater," I said nonchalantly and was about to grab a knit beige sweater when he walked inside and pulled my hand so we can go. While on the way to the door he grabbed my wallet and phone on the nightstand and picked up my backpack.
"No time, we must hurry or we won't have enough time." He said. Then we went out of my room I saw Taeyeon smiled knowingly and waved goodbye to us. What the heck is that girl thinking again?!
Minghao hailed a cab and said to take us to XX Market. When we got there, there are a lot of people looking around and eating at the food stalls. When we are about to shop Minghao holds my hand and leads the way. I was so shocked I stared at him stupidly, is he…. Finally?!
Sensing my stare, he looked at me and said, "I know you tend to wander, especially if there is food around, so to avoid you getting lost I need to make sure you don't go or stop anywhere." He was looking in front when he said that so I can't see his facial expression, guess it was too good to be true then? I thought sourly, got my hopes up for nothing!
I pulled my hand and walked behind him, "I'm not a kid! I'm older than you so I won't get lost okay?!" I said grumpily and just followed him around to go buy whatever he wants. And as promised I paid for all of it, not giving him a chance to take out his wallet. Even with the drinks, I paid for it as well.
