All was quiet after nightfall.
The program had done its best, but with the tiny budget and the fact that they were in a village in the mountains, the place they were staying at for the night was rather shabby.
An Xiaxia tossed and turned in bed until Sheng Yize pulled her into his arms. "Are you going to sleep at all?"
"I can't…" An Xiaxia sighed. "I miss the internet and TV… I want to order takeout…"
"You and your internet addiction," Sheng Yize commented, then pinched her waist lightly. "How about… we do something else?"
That put An Xiaxia on alert. Wrapping her blanket tightly around herself, she stammered, "No, no. That won't be necessary…"
"Go to sleep, then. We're going back tomorrow."
"What?" An Xiaxia was baffled. "They're only going to film for one day?"
The corner of Sheng Yize's mouth twitched. "They don't have a choice. They don't have any money."
He had never met a poorer crew.
