Her voice sounded calm, though hoarse. "Are you here for Yuanyuan?"

Before she could finish her sentence, he grabbed onto her wrist firmly and said, "I am here for you!"

Gu Xijiu kept quiet.

"Why didn't you tell me when you were poisoned?" Di Fuyi was irritated.

She could tell from his grip that his palms were sweaty. Gu Xijiu wanted to pull her hand back but was too weak even to do so.
