This story is unique in many ways. Well, the author knows his work and depicted an excellent art. This novel played with human(readers)emotions. The plot is unpredictable and the characters are smart. At the end of the story, I'm shocked. Though it's unpleasant, I wanna appreciate the thought of author. The whole story is serious, exciting,depressing and ...(how can I say?). It brings many emotions. But if u like romance, it's not for u. THIS IS MASTERPIECE. THIS IS MASTERPIECE. xd Thank u. Don't mind my English. If u are sick of annoying,dumb,self righteous protagonist, u should try this one. Four of my favorite demon novels( Warlock of the magus world, Reverend insanity, Renegade immortal). Villain novel is so rare so I'm currently reading other type of novels.

It is a perfect teenagers novel. characters are very one or two dimensional, they solely exist for the purporse of the story and of mc. world building is really good,
one of the top stories i have ever read. slow at the beginnig but it's only Gets better later. first chapters there is not much of progress are only about making mc for story

I read this novel till the end and hope it continues further. Though it's big but it's worth to read. It has many things that are related to real life. It's just like as if the Author is teaching us stuffs. The writing is creative understandable and easy to read. It has amazing plots, great character development and a cool main character who struggles a lot to reach higher. I wish for more chapter soon.
Pretty good. Unique powers, characters and world building for a Chinese novel. Yeah, it's a bit influenced by some other series, but it's not a copy. The characters aren't typical Chinese characters and have some uniqueness in them. I mean with basically. 95% of all chinese series out there being clones, these few unique ones that try to do something different, need to be cherished. Too bad qidian ****edmover the translator and now everyone is too scared to consider picking this up.

Really good novel with great potentials. But it desperately needs good translater. I see good background setting, good world building and good character design. However, the translation is bad, not too terrible that I dont understand anything, but bad enough to drop the quality of writting. This novel really deserved continuous good-quality translation.

Well, a great novel buuuut no one to translate it for years now, i really dont get it, why you drop such a good novel. get someone to ranslate it already.

Like, if you go to the desert, you should expect desert creatures, like snakes and scorpions, but his genius brain couldn't foresee that of if you dig the sand you could find a creature of the sorts... He's conveniently dumb at times...

I am angry. I am very VERY angry. Hey you Qidian people, I know that you own webnovel, so if you bother to look at this review I hope you take my views into account. I know this novel stopped because the translator got backstabbed or something, but what does that have to do with US? We are the people who read, and we want to read this novel. Why is there not a new translator? Are you going to ruin the book for use just because of your selfishness? Isn't the point of translating in the first place so that people like me who wants to read light novels but cannot read Chinese can enjoy the books? I don't really like normal English books, but I really clicked with light novels! So when I see a translator giving up, that's alright, but when I see a story dropped completely and never picked up again, that makes me go almost insane with rage. If I knew Chinese I'd definitely complain at your official website, Qidian, because you should just take this crappy story down if you are not going to finish it. I've experienced many times the feeling of reading a story and then stopping halfway, because there is no more chapters translated. That feeling is worse than eating poop, and it makes you want to eat the translator's skin and drink their blood. It's even worse when you know that you will never get to read those chapters, ever. So please, for the stability of my mind, so that I don't feel like eating your skin, drinking your blood and chewing on your bones, either get that original translator back here, or get another translator to continue translating this book in their stead. I was so glad I found this novel. The plot is so intriguing that it gave me surprises. Albeit there are grammatical errors and misspelled words, didn't have the guts to discontinue reading it.

I love this story and would love to finish it but sadly, due to some issues, it won't be updating anymore. The translation is ok, though you would see some grammatical errors from time to time, it's not that critical that would degrade the story. The world background is pretty interesting and unique. The evolution and monsters are what hooked me in this story's world. The MC is pretty smart and likeable, and I like how he interacts to different people in different circumstances. The story is currently on it's climb to a setting that's interesting but, as I've said, we won't be able to know that because it's discontinued. Anyway, I'm glad for having read this book, but sad at the same time because it died. Thanks

great book read up to 600+only thing to note is that this novel is brutal like what the new post apocalypse types try to say they are this one does it. Its shame this site cant seem to find a translator after makeing the fan stop but hey thats most of the good ones right? its why they had a fan translator in the beginning.
