寫檢討I've seen eldritch novels take the comedy route a few times, but none have managed the feat that is perfectly transmitting the terror of facing a being you cannot begin to comprehend, all through mere antics. The MC comes from the future (of an alternate universe) to stop humanity from developing in a way that would put the humans from his timeline in jeopardy. To that end, humanity must stop reproducing sexually and completely abandon the ties of family! Sounds like the perfect 2010s' comedy anime. That said, the story perfectly positions characters to provide different meetings and showcase more of the MCs "terror", while masterfully jumping between perspectives to develop each individual and provide the meat of the story. From the perspective of humans from 100,000 years in the future, the MC is kind, merciful, and playful. To a modern human, however, the "mercy" of an eldritch god is incredibly terrifying. Although the content of the story is mostly comedic, you can't help but lament that the MC is right that the future of humanity is bound to be grim. At the same time, no matter how many mental gymnastics you make, as a modern human, you can't fundamentally accept his solutions. After all, the beings at the end of that path, are they even humans anymore?
