章節 5: Proof
The next day Keomi and Taga would come to school, both holding small bags filled with fresh rice balls. They both would nod to one another as they entered the school and offered rice balls to everyone they met.
A big part of the morning was spent giving them out to students and faculty alike. The two would eventually have given them all out and would relax underneath the cherry tree in the lunchyard.
"How about that huh? We managed to get to almost everyone, I think we did a great job too!" Taga smiled.
"I know right? And everyone seemed to like them too, it was great!" Keomi said with a smile too. The two girls both high-fived one another and then laid back against the grass. The wind blowing as the smell of autumn was in the air.
"Your kindness...reward..." said the same echoey voice from the day before. Keomi sat up instantly as she turned her head around. Taga noticed and sat up too. "Whats up?" she asked.
"I heard the voice again; this time it talked about a reward." Keomi said, Taga nodded as she then got out her book again and began to go through it as Keomi stood up.
"AH! I think I know where we can go to speak to this spirit and even meet it maybe." Taga said. The two would then go to visit the martial arts clubroom, Taga would slowly open the door before then rolling inside stealthily. Keomi also looked around before walking inside, they both stood around the place looking at the many different tools and cool martial art weapons.
"Woah this place is cool! Look at the bamboo staffs and the training dummies." Taga said, Keomi nodded as she then saw some poses from karate on the side of the wall. She then began to mimic the movements, Taga would notice and join her.
"You know I think I'm starting to get the hang of this." Taga said as she kept on going forward making the same poses as Keomi struggled and fell over.
"Ahem." said a voice behind the girls, they then turned to see the Onigiri-yokai floating behind them, it was just like in what Taga's "drawing" had shown. Both the girls were dumbfounded as they stared at it. It had an ethereal light around it as it floated in front of them.
"Hello there." said the yokai.
"AHHHH!!!" the girls screamed.
