The Tower of Infinity was a construct of unknown origins, an endless tower where one could train infinitely. In the Douluo world, the tower adapted itself to include distinctions based on elements and Martial Spirit types. Simply by entering, one could choose the type of Spirit Ring they desired, and the tower would transport them to the corresponding location.
The tower offered more than just Spirit Rings—it provided trials for Spirit Masters. Completing these trials rewarded participants with Spirit Arts, materials for Martial Spirit evolution, and even the ability to increase the age of Spirit Rings. This incredible tower had been one of the rewards Yuan received from the newbie gift pack. However, up until now, he had never used it. Today, that was about to change.
"Tower of Infinity," Yuan whispered softly as a massive gate materialized in front of him. Without hesitation, he stepped inside, followed closely by Sisi and Dugu Yan. Dugu Bo trailed behind them as well, though his goal was different. He intended to use the tower's trials to enhance the age of his Spirit Rings.
As Yuan crossed the threshold, he found himself in a bright, empty white room. Various prompts appeared before him.
[Welcome, Challenger, to the Tower of Infinity.]

Yuan selected Spirit Ring, and the prompts shifted.

[Domain of Frost Fire selected for Challenger.]
[Transferring...]
A flash of light enveloped him, and when it dissipated, Yuan found himself in a breathtakingly unique region. The Frost Fire Region was a fusion of fire and ice, with the ground resembling glowing blue magma. Trees dotted the landscape, radiating a mix of heat and chill. Spirit Beasts roamed freely, exuding dual attributes of fire and ice.
[Welcome to the Frost Fire Region.]
[Here, all Spirit Beasts possess the dual attributes of fire and ice.]
[Rare Spirit Beasts with additional attributes may also be found.]
[Challenger is safe to explore, as no Spirit Beast will attack unless provoked. If a Spirit Beast is attacked, the others will vacate, leaving the Challenger to face it one-on-one.]
[ Challenger can also call an helper to hunt spirit beast ]
[A board has been provided ahead to help the Challenger identify a suitable Spirit Beast.]
[Good luck, Challenger.]
Yuan began to explore, scanning his surroundings. Spirit Beasts of various shapes and sizes wandered the landscape. After walking a short distance, he found the glowing board. Scrolling through the list, he finally found the one he wanted: the Twin Needle Predator Bee, a Spirit Beast with dual attributes of fire and ice.
The Spirit skills provided by it, is the best one he can get among the other skills provided by other spirit beasts.
While Yuan had hoped for a Spirit Beast with light attributes as well, none were available in this domain. He decided to make the best of what he had. His eyes locked on the bee, perched atop a glowing crystalline tree. Its sharp, glistening needles radiated an aura of frost and flame.
"This will do," Yuan muttered, his determination solidifying as he prepared for the battle.
Yuan begin to move around as he also noticed that above the heads of spirit beasts there are also the age mentioned above their heads.
Yuan continued as he hoped to find the beast he wants while also keeping an eye out for any rare spirit beast as it was mentioned on the board there can be rare spirit beast and their information is not recorded on board.
Soon, Yuan entered the forest, knowing that it was the natural habitat for bees. He moved cautiously, keeping an eye out for any signs of a hive. After some searching, he finally found one. Nodding to himself, Yuan approached the hive. The Spirit Beasts inside didn't attack him, as he made sure not to provoke them.
Most of the Spirit Beasts he encountered didn't meet his needs—their ages were either too low or too high for his first Spirit Ring. However, after some time, he found exactly what he was looking for: a drone from the hive with an age of 9,567 years.
"Good," Yuan muttered. Then he called out, "Bai Xiuxiu."
A figure materialized in front of him—it was Xiuxiu, though her expression made it clear she wasn't the real person but a replica. The Tower of Infinity created perfect clones of people related to the challenger who could assist in hunting Spirit Beasts. Naturally, Yuan chose the most powerful ally available to him, Bai Xiuxiu.
The clone Xiuxiu didn't speak, simply nodding at Yuan's request as he pointed toward the Spirit Beast he had selected. Without hesitation, she waved her hand, and the drone was instantly encased in a block of ice, leaving only its head exposed. The other Spirit Beasts in the hive fled the area in fear.
Yuan approached the immobilized drone, dagger in hand. Without delay, he plunged the blade into its head. Blood splattered, staining the ground as the Spirit Beast let out one final cry before falling silent. From its lifeless body, a dark purple Spirit Ring rose, hovering above it.
Yuan's expression softened as he gazed at the ring. "Finally," he whispered, ready to absorb his first Spirit Ring.
Yuan took a deep breath, steadying himself. The dark purple Spirit Ring floated ominously, its powerful aura making the air around it feel heavy. He sat cross-legged, placing himself in a meditative state. This was a critical moment—absorbing a Spirit Ring wasn't just about success or failure; it was about life and death.
Clone Xiuxiu stood nearby, her gaze calm and watchful, ready to intervene if anything went wrong.
"Let's begin," Yuan murmured to himself as he reached out with his spiritual power. The Spirit Ring responded, slowly descending toward him. The moment it touched him, an immense pressure surged through his body. It was as if fire and ice clashed within him, threatening to tear him apart.
