He had no reason to explain why, but the Kobold King felt a huge, bloody scythe hanging over his head. "I can't let him finish that chant!!!" he roared while stomping his feet and lunging forward. His giant claws gleamed dangerously under the dim cavern light, illuminating the place in a forlorn way.
Memphis's saddened face ashened as she could feel the power contained within that overdriven dog-beast body. From what she had seen of Hunters because of her dad's work, even a C-Rank Hunter would experience trouble when pitted against something of that level!
'He will die…!!' she thought grimly, instinctively closing her eyes out of fear of what was to come.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
However, after hearing countless ear-deafening sonic booms reverberate, Memphis pried her eyelids open against every instinct telling her not to. She then saw a sight that could only be described as unbelievable…
The Kobold King's massive, terrifying body was now split into six massive chunks of meat and blood, all of which were splattered behind its throne. There wasn't even enough time for it to register or respond to anything, but if it had been given that time, disbelief would surely have been strewn across its hideous face.
To add to Memphis's astonishment, every other powerful Kobold monster in the throne room was dead. From the King to the lowliest of peons, all of them looked as if they had been quite literally hacked at until they died.
"...Even see me… Oh, wait, they're already dead," Cassius chuckled before allowing Lilith to absorb all the blood smeared in every corner of the room. "I'll return my Newbie 1 Set back to their proper spots while Lilith is evolving, and maybe glance at my system notifications."
Doing just that, he stuck his limiters back on, somehow feeling a lot more comfortable than when his Agility stat of 125 was fully unleashed. He had originally used up a good chunk of his AP just before entering the throne room, just to be on the safer side. However, even if he had barely reached the C-Rank, around the 100 mark, he probably could have still handled the unruly mutt with ease.
"...Well, not like I really lost anything…" Cassius consoled himself while looking at the barrage of pop-ups spamming his peripheral vision.

[Acquired 'Troll System - Idle Benefit #2']
[Acquired Special Grade Skill 'Are you looking to get face-slapped?']
Cassius felt another eruption of power course through his veins. He relished that feeling of empowerment for a moment before fixing his attention on the third reward. He had no idea what the hell a 'Troll System' was, but for it to be the 2nd Idle Benefit, it must surely be something spectacular.
Opening up his Idle Benefits section, his perceptive eyes quickly fell on the relevant details.
{[Idle Benefit 2: Troll System]}
—[You now have the ability to acquire trace amounts of AP by trolling other living beings. The stronger the target and the more numerous they are, the more AP you will acquire. (AP acquisition is most dependent on how angry or emotional you make your target.)]
[Learn to be a good Troll as per required of your free-of-charge Character Development course! ^~^]
"...I see…" Cassius was momentarily speechless, but if this was yet another thing that could improve his strength until he could truly begin idling, then he would accept it with open arms.
"Anger… I just need to make other people angry? And how far does 'emotional' extend, I wonder…?"
Ultimately, he decided to test out the feature later. In the meantime, he had some more rewards to peruse, which was exactly what he did.
"'Are you looking to get face-slapped'?"
Question marks sparked above Cassius's head as he tried to figure out what this thing did. But seeing as it was a skill, he would just test it out on an enemy later and see what happens. "...Too bad it doesn't come with a description… Will kind of be going into this in the dark… But oh well, next set of rewards for now."
Upon pressing yes for all of the Bonus Rewards, more system notifications rang out.

"Damn, two levels up just from that?" said Cassius. "It looks like I'll need to keep a better lookout for more Heaps of EXP in the future."
With that, his attention was drawn to the Common-grade Evoballs, which was when a brief description for them popped up.
