Anabella was back to her usual mood by the time lunch rolled around. 

Daniel decided to join them during lunchtime for the first time in two days, but Anabella did not know about it. Due to her heat, she had been out of the house for the past three days.

She went to the dining table but felt awkward when she saw Sharon occupying her usual seat.

Due to the lingering effect of her heat, that small gesture irritated Anabella, and she let out a frustrated sigh. It had been unintentional, but it happened anyway, causing everyone to turn toward her.

"I think it would be best to return my food to my room…"

Anabella spoke to break the awkward atmosphere that had fallen around her. She wanted to leave and return to her cozy room when Sharon's embarrassed cough stopped her.

There was a problem, but Sharon hesitated to speak up, which irritated Anabella.
