With the Chimera, travel time was nearly negligible. Whereas it took Kai and Shuzen days to travel just to a different spot of the southern region of Ashtyri, the Chimera reached almost the other edge in just an hour.

"Well, look at that! We're here, Kai!" Etyrion yelled over the harsh wind brushing against their ears.

Kai held his head against the Chimera's fur, unable to believe what he just heard. 'We just left, what does he mean we're here already?!'

However, when the wind suddenly slowed down and he felt them flying to the ground, Kai knew somehow they actually did make it that fast. He knew that the Chimera was a fantastic beast. Even if he couldn't corrupt this one, he wanted his own.

When they touched the ground, Kai thanked Jideva that they were finally out of the air. Etyrion jumped off the Chimera with a smooth grace, not a winkle created on his uniform.
