She must have gone crazy for asking him if he liked her. But she was exhausted from having these questions lingering in her mind.

But do you like me because I think I like you, Lucas?

In her fuck up mind, she believed she had liked him even before the accident and before she had forgotten most of her memories.

But she could not determine if he liked her, especially with his cold and warm attitude toward her.

One minute, he acted like she only existed to serve him as his employee. Then, he acted like a jealous husband in front of everybody.

"Of course, I like you. You are a great employee. Besides, you are my wife." He answered as he looked away and stared at the massive television on the wall.

But, of course, he knew he was dodging the question. How could he answer his wife when he was unsure about what was happening to him?
