章節 28: Chapter 27: Honeymoon Island
Many wealthy individuals and nobles liked to travel to the East Blue, where they no longer had to fear encountering ruthless pirates. In the years following Roger's death, the region's tourism industry had developed rapidly. Even some high-ranking Navy officers liked to visit during their vacations, and among them, the most famous was Garp, the Navy hero.
Among the many attractions in the East Blue, Honeymoon Island was considered the best. It was often referred to as a paradise by the wealthy and nobility.
Honeymoon Island had pleasant scenery and what was truly remarkable was that the waters around the beach, for reasons unknown, not only had the perfect temperature for swimming but also lacked any dangerous fish species.
For many young people, the dream of swimming in these waters was a distant hope, but the high ticket prices and living expenses meant that it had always been a place reserved for the rich.
At this moment, a dilapidated little boat could be seen drifting toward Honeymoon Island from the distant sea. This was the Night Owl Pirates' ship, the Kado ship.
However, Kado and his crew certainly didn't dare to raise the Night Owl Pirates' Jolly Roger openly. Instead, they had come under the guise of bounty hunter "Saint Hand" Kado.

In the distance, on the Kado ship, Kado was looking through a telescope at Honeymoon Island's beach.
"Wow, that figure is just perfect, damn, this one is even better! That chest could suffocate a person! Wow, so crazy—wait, is this girl not even wearing a swimsuit?!"
"where, where! Let me see!" Sanchi grabbed the telescope from Kado's hands, shouting excitedly.
Pfftt...
Sanchi's nosebleed erupted, the telescope pressed tightly against his nose, his mouth watering as he said, "This... this place is literally heaven on earth for me!"
"Hey, watch your image, look at your stupid face, so embarrassing" Kado grabbed the telescope and eagerly started looking through it.
"Hey, what the heck! I wasn't done yet!"
"Get lost, I was looking first!"
"You little brat, you dare steal my telescope? I'm going to duel you!" Sanchi roared, tackling Kado to the ground. The two immediately began wrestling.
Meanwhile, Fite, standing nearby, paid no attention to the two fighting. His eyes were fixed on the highest peak of Honeymoon Island, a thoughtful expression on his face.

After paying for their tickets, the three members of the Night Owl Pirates made their way toward a hotel near the beach.
"Woo, I was hoping to live out my old age here in peace, but who knew the cost of everything would be so high! One ticket alone costs a million! My god, how much would it cost to live here for a lifetime?" Sanchi, who had been shouting excitedly about retiring here, now looked disheartened after leaving the ticket booth. The exorbitant prices had crushed his dreams.
"Heh, with that look of yours. Stop overthinking it," Kado sneered.
"What, do I look ugly or something?!" Sanchi growled, stroking the thick beard on his chin.
"Take a piss and look at yourself! A perfectly fine young man of seventeen or eighteen, yet you insist on growing such a long beard, your hair's almost shaved to a bald head, you could pass for a monk without anyone suspecting it. You even like to hang a bunch of kitchen utensils behind you, carrying a huge wok on your back. You look like a mutated turtle, and when you walk, the knives and forks clink around—heck, even a butcher doesn't carry as many knives as you do!"
This is a playful and sarcastic remark from Kado, making fun of Sanchi's appearance and habits.
After hearing this, Sanchi was furious and couldn't help but argue, "A beard makes me look more mature, unlike you, who looks like a brat, being bald is hygienic, when cooking, hair and dandruff won't fall into the pot, and as a chef who treats everything in the world as an ingredient, carrying cooking utensils on my back allows me to cook at all times, and everything on my body thing is a matter of care, how can you idiot guys understand that."
"Hehe, you're just ugly anyway, your style is just weird anyway, your looks are just disgraceful anyway, don't say it in a while, you're the crew of my Saint Hand Kado, disgraceful all the way" Kado said roguishly.
"Hmph, you just don't have an eye for true beauty. I believe there will definitely be people who will appreciate my style!" Sanchi straightened himself up, speaking with righteous conviction.
"Alright, let's have a competition and see who can get a girlfriend here first. But just to be clear, anyone who's too ugly doesn't count," Kado said.
"Alright, too ugly, are you stupid? I just looked, there isn't a single ugly woman here. Anyone who can come here is either a woman or daughter from a wealthy family. Those rich people aren't stupid; they wouldn't choose an ugly woman to carry on their lineage!" Sanchi said.
"You are insulting all the women who don't look good. I will definitely defeat you." Kado tossed his bundle onto Fite, then ran toward the beach like the wind, stripping off his clothes as he went.
"Damn it, wait for me! I haven't even called for the start of the competition yet! You're already trying to get a head start?!" Sanchi yelled, throwing his prized cooking tools at Fite. He quickly stripped down to just his shorts and rushed toward the beach.
Fite shook his head helplessly, carrying a pile of junk, and headed toward the inn.

On the beach of Honeymoon Island.
"Miss, you're so beautiful," Kado struck a pose he thought was very handsome, standing in front of a woman in a swimsuit.
"Are you crazy? Get lost!" The woman splashed her drink over Kado's head, cursed at him, and turned to walk away.
Kado wiped his face and muttered, looking at the woman's back: "Clearly a mistress being kept, acting all high and mighty."
Meanwhile, beside another woman in a swimsuit,
Sanchi flexed his abdomen, trying to show off his well-defined abs, and said to the woman in front of him: "Beautiful, do you have a boyfriend?"
"Hubby!" The woman screamed. "Someone's hitting on me!"
A towering man, over two meters tall, with dark skin and muscles bulging out, stepped forward, blocking the woman. He shouted at Sanchi, "Kid, what do you think you're doing?"
"N-nothing!" Sanchi quickly waved his hands. "I was just passing by!"

Meanwhile, on the path leading to the top of Honeymoon Island, Fite was walking toward the summit with a backpack.
A figure holding a gun suddenly appeared from the side and blocked Fite's path.
"What are you doing here? There's danger up ahead. Please don't get any closer."
"Oh, I'm just here for vacation," Fite explained with a smile. "I just wanted to go to the top to get a better view of the whole of Honeymoon Island."
"The top is dangerous, there's nothing else. It's best if you go back," the armed guard said.
"Mm, thanks," Fite nodded, then turned and started walking back down.
After a while, Fite swiftly dodged and slipped into the nearby jungle, choosing another path to head toward the summit.
