章節 96: The Gradual Approach to Reality

In the tranquil corridor, an almost palpable silence enveloped the air, broken only by the sound of footsteps.

The flickering magical lights on either side cast eerie shadows upon the faces of the group.

At the forefront walked Prince Jarvan, armed with a long spear, closely followed by a woman named Shyvana, who maintained a half-bent posture, careful not to encroach upon her lord's space.

Xiao Mu Yu trailed behind, his demeanor cold, accompanied by a cheerful golden-haired girl radiating warmth.

Adorning her head was an adorable pointed wizard's hat, allowing her lustrous golden locks to cascade freely down her back, while she wore a sky-blue mage's robe that hugged her figure.

The fitted robe accentuated her delicate curves beneath her graceful bosom, the lines perfectly tracing her slender waist, bestowing an exquisite beauty upon her form.

Below, she wore an ultra-short skirt of the same celestial hue, its hem barely covering two-thirds of her thighs, revealing the smooth, fair skin of her legs, which glimmered enticingly between her ankle-high blue stockings and the light blue skirt.

The skirt's edge was adorned with pure white lace, reminiscent of fluffy cotton candy, imparting a sense of innocence and vibrant beauty.

Suddenly, Jarvan's steps faltered. "Everyone, be cautious; there is a room ahead."

Within the pyramid's expansive corridor, while traps may not be present, the vast chambers it connected to were certain to harbor foes, a truth well understood by all present.

In truth, there was no need for his warning; each individual present was a formidable practitioner of at least the eighth tier, and as Jarvan detected the room, so too did the others.

As they cautiously entered the chamber, Xiao Mu Yu's gaze was immediately drawn to the two doorways flanking the walls.

One door stood red, the other purple, each towering approximately three meters, while the room itself remained eerily empty.

As anticipated, upon their entrance, the two imposing doors creaked open, as if sensing the presence of the living.

Beyond lay an abyss of darkness, suggesting a connection to another dimension.

Under their watchful eyes, six warriors clad in thick armor emerged from the depths of the two doors.

These warriors stood at eye level with humans, wielding weapons of remarkable sharpness, their ominous aura palpable even from a distance—an essence cultivated only through countless battles and the shedding of blood.

As the armored figures stepped into the chamber, the rhythmic sound of their armor clattering echoed with each synchronized movement.

Wordlessly, the six bronze-armored warriors formed a precise formation, their mere presence exuding an overwhelming force as if they could face an army single-handedly.

With their blades raised high, the six figures, encased in robust armor, surged forth like a tempest towards the group.

"Boom!"

Jarvan thrust his massive spear into the ground, the force creating a small crater in the hard floor. With his right hand gripping the weapon, its sharp tip aimed at the advancing armored warriors, he bellowed, "Prince Jarvan of Demacia stands here!"

"Clang!"

Amidst the explosive force, Jarvan was pushed back several steps by the combined might of the six armored warriors.

"Excellent! Bring it on!" Instead of anger, the imperial prince was filled with exhilaration, laughing heartily as he charged forward, eager to experience the true ferocity of the ancient alchemical golems.

The fierce energy surged and spread throughout the expansive chamber…

…

"Crack."

A soft sound echoed.

The massive stone door swung open gently as a woman clad in light armor stepped elegantly into the vast, empty hall.

The hall was devoid of furnishings, its vastness stretching over ten thousand square meters, save for intricately sculpted reliefs adorning the walls and the gemstones embedded in the towering dome above, casting a soft, ethereal glow.

In this grand hall, the only notable feature was a colossal magical stone door at the far end, directly facing the entrance.

This towering door, while termed a stone door, was merely a frame intricately carved with countless complex runes, its center a profound abyss of darkness, obscuring what lay beyond.

This deep void occupied over ninety percent of the door's surface area.

At the heart of this dark expanse, a mesmerizing nebula swirled gently, captivating in its beauty.

Surrounding this immense stone door stood six statues of wizards, each extending their staffs toward a bizarre, levitating wand hovering before the colossal door.

From the tips of the stone staffs held by the wizard statues, pink beams of light continuously emanated, bridging the space to the suspended wand.

In total, six beams connected to the wand's shaft, culminating in a strange-colored beam that pierced the dark void, merging with the gently rotating nebula, seemingly providing energy for its motion.

The color emitted from the wand's tip was extraordinarily peculiar, not found within the spectrum of twelve colors, embodying a purity intertwined with hints of otherworldly allure; though visible to human eyes, it eluded precise description—an essence belonging to the divine and the arcane, an indescribable… reality.

This color was aptly named "Reality."

An otherworldly hue accessible only to the divine.

With graceful strides, the sound of her heels resonating on the floor, Sivir approached the massive magical stone door, casting a charming smile at the levitating wand. "Ah, the Wand of Time; it seems the rumors were indeed true, the Goddess of Youth lies dormant here."

Wearing a smile reminiscent of a victorious battle, Sivir extended her hand, as pure as jade, toward the hovering wand…

"If I were you, I would refrain from touching that wand." A voice, calm yet imbued with authority, resonated from behind her, halting Sivir's outstretched hand.
