After Anton left, the Batmobile switched to autopilot mode and parked in an empty alley not far from the Osborn building.
The Lizard Man, who had lost both hands and feet, as well as his tail, struggled fiercely in the Batmobile.
However, no matter how strong his regenerative abilities were, there was no way he could regrow his limbs and break free of Batman specially designed ropes in such a short amount of time.
"Batman!"
The Lizard Man growled in a low, guttural voice, the sound echoing eerily through the alley.
Had the citizens near the Osborn building not been evacuated by the police, no one would have been able to sleep peacefully with this chilling sound reverberating around them.
Fixing his gaze on a manhole cover only a dozen meters away, the Lizard Man was in utter despair.
If only he could break free from the ropes, he could dive into the sewer and escape to regain his freedom. But he just couldn't do it.
This might just be the greatest distance in the world.
Bang!
Suddenly, just as the Lizard Man was sinking into despair, the manhole cover was violently kicked from below, flying high into the air before crashing down.
Clang!!
The manhole cover struck the ground with a thunderous noise, the sound reverberating through the dark alley.
The Lizard Man eyes lit up. He felt his opportunity had finally arrived.
"Who there?"
His voice was hoarse.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
Several unfamiliar figures leaped out of the manhole.
Both sides locked eyes, equally stunned.
"Turtles?"
The Lizard Man murmured, unable to believe that someone else had fused turtle DNA, in addition to his own lizard DNA.
"Could it be for a longer lifespan?"
He thought of how turtles were known for their longevity and figured it wasn't entirely impossible.
"Save me!!"
The Lizard Man growled, "We're the same kind!"
"The same kind?"
The yellow-masked turtle hesitated, spreading his hands and saying, "Dude, we're clearly not the same species."
The figures emerging from the sewer were none other than the Turtle Squad accompanying Eddie and April to Manhattan, near the Osborn building.
Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello.
The four turtles looked at the Lizard Man bound to the Batmobile. After a moment of hesitation, they shifted their gaze to the Batmobile itself.
"Wow, that car is amazing."
Donatello, nicknamed Donnie, the purple-masked turtle, gazed at the Batmobile in awe, his eyes sparkling with admiration.
As a tech enthusiast, he couldn't resist the allure of the Batmobile.
"Don't listen to his nonsense!"
At this moment, Eddie and April climbed out of the manhole.
Eddie glanced at the bound Lizard Man without much surprise.
The symbiote Venom within him had already sensed the Lizard Man presence and had alerted him mentally.
"This guy is not like you."
Eddie said, "His name is Curt Connors. He a mad scientist who injected himself with a lizard gene serum to cure his disability. While it did cure his disability, it also turned him into the Lizard Man—a lunatic who dreams of creating a lizard empire."
"I've read about him in the news!"
Donnie gave Eddie a thumbs-up. "Eddie, the Daily Bugle is one of our must-read papers every day."
"Looks like he been caught by Batman again."
Eddie walked past the Lizard Man. Driven by his instincts as a journalist, he pulled out his camera and snapped a picture of the enraged and bound Lizard Man, capturing the moment for posterity. He then said, "Ignore him. Let go help Batman!"
"No problem."
"We've been waiting for this!"
The Turtle Squad exchanged excited glances and rushed out of the dark alley with great enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, elsewhere.
After Anton returned to his peak condition, he teamed up with Spider-Man to overwhelm the Green Goblin.
The Green Goblin, having detonated his glider, lost his greatest advantage. His mobility drastically decreased, and even his confidence was ground into the dirt by Anton, now transformed as Batman.
He never imagined that Anton could emerge from that terrifying explosion completely unharmed, not even a scratch on the armor he wore.
To this moment, the Green Goblin couldn't figure out how Anton armor had reverted from a battle-damaged state to looking factory-new.
Of course, if things had gone as the Green Goblin hoped, with the glider explosion incapacitating Anton, the outcome might have been as he expected.
The Green Goblin, furious and nearly mad, ignored his injuries, flinging a throwing knife to force Spider-Man back before charging toward Anton for a bare-knuckle fight.
Bang!
Anton didn't miss the opportunity.
He blocked the Green Goblin punch, locked his arm, and then delivered a brutal knee strike. The Goblin face twisted in pain, thankful he had fathered a son early in life.
Not far away, Spider-Man saw the scene and felt a chill run down his spine.
That was intense!
He sincerely realized just how much combat experience he lacked.
Up to now, his ability to hold out against the Green Goblin for so long was purely due to his inherent physical advantages.
If he could fight like Batman, he might have played a bigger role by now!
The thought flashed through his mind, and he quickly rushed over to help.
The Green Goblin, already struggling against Anton assault, became even more constrained with Spider-Man joining in.
Spider-Man omnipresent webs made it almost impossible for the Goblin to evade.
Bang!
A punch landed squarely on his head.
"Looks like you've decided how you want to get beaten up!"
Anton sneered, landing punch after punch. Each strike dented the Green Goblin chest armor, leaving his mind reeling. Beneath the sturdy helmet, his face was covered with wounds inflicted by Anton fists, blood slowly oozing from the cracks.
"Batman…"
The Green Goblin collapsed to the ground, utterly spent, his chest barely moving as he hovered on the brink of unconsciousness.
Using the last of his strength, he spoke slowly, word by word, his tone laden with complexity.
"Don't tell Harry…"
This statement was directed at both Anton and the nearby Spider-Man.
Hearing what sounded like a paternal admonishment, tears suddenly streamed down Spider-Man face beneath his mask.
He didn't understand why things had turned out this way.
However, the words completely revealed the Green Goblin identity. As Batman had deduced, the Green Goblin was Norman Osborn—the very man Spider-Man had known as Uncle Norman since childhood.
"How could this happen!"
Spider-Man stood beside the unconscious Green Goblin, dazed, unsure of what to do next.
Should he hand the Green Goblin over to the police and let him spend the rest of his life in prison?
"Batman!"
Spider-Man turned to his idol.
After resolving the Green Goblin crisis, he had no idea how to deal with the defeated Goblin.
Suddenly, his Spider-Sense tingled. Spider-Man quickly turned his head.
Anton followed his gaze.
Four ninja-like figures wearing different-colored masks were charging toward them with excited expressions and a fierce aura.
Spider-Man expression grew serious. His instincts immediately told him that these strange creatures would be tough to handle.
At the same time, George Stacy, leading a task force, arrived quickly on the scene.
The task force members blocked the turtles at the end of the street, gripping their weapons tightly and aiming their guns at the four turtles.
"Batman, these guys just broke in. They're not good people!"
George Stacy said with firm conviction, his tone harsh. "By the looks of it, they must be accomplices of the Lizard Man! Maybe even the Green Goblin is in cahoots with them!"
"Huh?"
Anton froze, glancing at the four turtles and then recalling the Lizard Man.
Although the two sides were clearly not the same species, at this moment, under George stern warning, their images strangely overlapped.
He was momentarily at a loss for words.
