"How romantic" Yet I almost rolled my eyes when Leon's voice of amusement rang out from in front of me.
"What do you want" I gave him a blank stare realizing he had sent Nessa away on purpose for some reason.
"Well as I said before in the baths" Leon smiled taking as he crossed his arms with a thoughtful face.
"I think all the woman should get tattoos for….training of course" He smirked purposely pausing his words making me slowly clench my hand to my side.
"But there are so many good options that I'm stuck" Leon let out a regretful sigh before meeting my gaze once more.
"So I thought I should ask you since you've known them so long" He laughed slightly and I felt my finger nails digging into my skin only for my hand to relax instantly.
"You really think highly of yourself don't you lowly bastard" My voice was cold making Leon look surprised while his eye twitched at the word lowly.
"I don't know what you're talking about hero" The dark skinned man out on an innocent expression as if offended.
"Leon" I rolled my eyes taking a step forward while feeling disgusted to say that bastards name.
"Without that skill you are nothing but a lowly bastard whose greatest achievement is basic wind magic?" I spoke calmly keeping his gaze and smirking as his jaw clenched tightly obvious bothered.
"I guess we are the same then" Yet a second later he sneered stepping forward as well with a viscous tone to match.
"Because without that blessing you are nothing but a village bumpkin" Leon smirked making my eyes turn cold as we kept each others gazes for a moment,
'….' Of course it stung a little that deep down he was right to some degree but I knew that so was.
I quickly stomped my foot forward and watched as Leon flinched back a couple of feet, The sight of him stumbling was truly amusing to watch. The dark skinned man glared at me once he realized I hadn't moved and huffed in annoyance, Yet just when I thought he was finally going to free me of his presence he titled his head.
"How about we settle our differences then hero?" Leon gave me a serious expression that I hadn't seen him make since our first meeting,
"And how would we do that" I played along wondering if the idiot was going to try to fight me or something.
"A bet" Leon suddenly broke out into a smile as his words left my eyebrows to scrunch together in confusion.
'A bet?' I had no idea what he was talking about but I found myself particularly interested in showing this bastard his place.
"What type of bet?" I asked titling my head mocking Leon although he didn't seem to care smiling still.
"It's simply really" Leon spoke clearly as if the idea wasn't just something he thought up on the spot.
"You can choose the participant" I listened closely as an occasional servant or two passed by at work.
"And both of us will tell said participant to come to our room tonight and whoever they go to wins" Leon finished his suggestion and I stared at him blankly before breaking out into a laughter.
"You really are deluded aren't you?" My facd instantly became cold gazing at the bastard like he was mentally ill.
'He really thinks anyone would choose him' It seemed that his skill has gotten to his already big enough head
My fiancés nor Evelyn would even consider the thought, And although my mother was currently under Leon's thumb even she wouldn't hesitate in the decision between a random bastard and her beloved son.
"So you accept then?" Leon smirked despite the contempt I was clearly showing him.
"Sure" I had no reason not to accept after all it gave me a chance to show Leon what his true place in the party was.
"Then who will be participant?" Leon looked very pleased to her my agreement before he waited for my response.
"…" I hesitated for only a split second going through the list of the five woman close to me although I knew it was all the same so eventually chosen randomly.
"Ella" She was my childhood friend and my first love who had been with me since the very beginning.
"The white knight" Leon's smile brightened at my choice and proceeded to narrow his eyes into slants.
"Then let's add some flavor on top shall we" He continued uncrossing his arms and staring at me
"Flavor?" I asked confused but my question was soon answered
"What's a bet without prize" Leon titled his head once more as if saying something obvious.
"It's simple" He shrugged while reaching out and pointing at me first.
"If the white knight chooses you then…I'll stay away from her" Leon's words made my eyes narrow and my heart start to with a sudden hard beat.
"We won't train nor use my skill" He continued with my heart beating faster and faster realizing what he was saying.
'…They won't lay together..' I clenched my teeth knowing that I wanted nothing more than that in the world.
"And if I win~" Leon broke my thoughts but I couldn't help but scoff in the middle of his sentence.
'This bastard' If he really thought she would choose him then I truly couldn't understand his idiocy.
"Then the hero will grant me ten requests" Leon's eye twitched but he finally showed me his true motives for suggesting such a bet.
"Ten requests?" I mirrored back his words while wondering what the smug bastard was trying to plan.
"Do you agree?" Leon asked while holding out one of his hands waiting for my response as his smirk slowly fell.
