章節 23: I Can't Afford To Lose You Again

 The entire place was dead silent. Only the sound of the other cars arriving was heard. "O M gosh!" The man with blue dreadlocks said out loud. The others had already gotten out of their cars and were marveling at Ashley's insane driving skills.

 Chris got out of his car and looked in the direction of the blue sports car and realized that neither Ashley nor Nathan had gotten out of the car. Worried, he walked towards the car and opened the door on the driver's side.

 Ashley's left cheek was plastered against the steering wheel, her hands on her head. Her face was stained with sweat and tears. Her eyes too were as red as blood. She groaned, probably due to pain. Nathan sat by her side, patting her on the back and whispering soft words. When he saw Chris, the worry and fear in his eyes did not disappear.
