With just 1:50 left on the clock, Tang Lei carried the ball past half-court for the Warriors. The scoreboard read 113–126, leaving them 13 points behind the Clippers. This possession was crucial; missing here could shatter the team's confidence and morale.

Patrick Beverley, emboldened by his earlier success against Durant, quickly locked his gaze on Tang Lei, shadowing him with relentless intensity.

"Asian boy," Beverley snarled, his tone dripping with malice. "You may have had your fun last game, but tonight, you won't get a single point past me!"

Tang Lei smirked. "That's what they all say. Can't you come up with something new?"
