章節 6: BREAK OFF THE ENGAGEMENT
"I can never accept such an unfifial daughter in law into my family, even with her bad reputation we still gave the Wu family face by letting such a girl into how family but after seeing what happened today, i don't think I can accept this anymore why don't we break off the engagement" Madam Mu who had been quiet all this while suddenly retorted.

Thinking about her words he found them reasonable so he agreed to them, "alright then we can talk about breaking off the engagement some other time during tea" he said making Lin jiayi and the Mu family sigh in relief.
Not long after the crowd had dissipated and members of the Mu, Lin and Wu bade their farewell before going their separate ways lost in thought.
