"I'll go with you."
Launch's voice, expression, and demeanor had completely changed from before, and her blue hair had turned golden.
Launch possessed a remarkable dual personality that switched every time she sneezed, with one personality waking as the other fell asleep. However, after years of training alongside the Red Ribbon Warriors, she had gained enough control to switch personalities at will. Now, both personalities could remain awake simultaneously, sharing memories and even communicating with each other.
"Both you and Chi-Chi should stay in the temple on standby for monitoring. It'll just be me and Goku going."
"This is a Saiyan matter; we should handle it ourselves," Yuujin said, shaking his head.
"Hmph. If you're in danger, I'm not going to sit back and do nothing," Launch said, folding her arms, clearly displeased. Yuujin chuckled a bit.
"Silly woman, if both Goku and I are in danger, what could you possibly do by coming along?"
Despite his words, Yuujin felt a bit touched. Even though Launch had this unique dual personality and both sides of her were quite different, her loyalty and affection for him were steadfast.
After giving a few more instructions to the women, Yuujin had the maidens help him and Goku change into battle-ready martial arts gear. They greeted everyone and then flew down from the temple together...
…
Boom!!!
The ground shook as a ball-shaped spaceship, trailing a fiery tail, plummeted like a meteor, creating a massive crater on impact.
Following the temple's order, Earth's military had already evacuated nearby residents, minimizing damage. Only a few small animals nearby scattered in fright.
As the dust settled, the ship's door slowly opened, and a man emerged, floating in the air.
He had long, wild hair and a fierce, imposing gaze, clad in the battle armor typical of Saiyans, with a scouter on his head.
"So, this is the planet Kakarot resides on? Such peace… tsk!" he muttered, seemingly displeased. The man activated his scouter to locate Kakarot and check if there was any strong power on this planet.
Beep beep beep beep!!!!
The scouter's readings spiked wildly, sounding a long alarm.
Seeing the results, the man's face filled with shock—
"There are hundreds of life forms with power levels over a thousand?"
"This is a joke, right? On a mere low-level planet?"
"This old thing must be broken after all this time," he concluded.
Before arriving, he had gathered intel on this planet called Earth. It was already surprising that a low-level planet could host two life forms with power levels in the hundreds; there was no way there could be so many strong beings.
Just then—
"Hey, hey, are you a Saiyan too?"
A girl's voice called out. The man turned to see a young man and woman in martial arts uniforms descending from the sky.
It was Goku and Yuujin!
Upon seeing them, the man's lips curled into a grin.
"Kakarot, my little sister, I was about to come find you, but here you are in front of me."
"Huh? I'm Kakarot too. We've never met—how do you even know me?" Goku asked curiously, landing beside Yuujin.
"Hmph. One look at that face, and I see our father and mother in you. My name is Raditz, a surviving Saiyan like you—and your older brother!"
With a cold scoff, the man introduced himself as Raditz, the eldest son of Bardock, and thus Goku's brother.
"My... brother?"
Goku tilted her head, looking thoroughly puzzled. Out of nowhere, she now had a brother?
Though he seemed truthful, Goku only considered Yuujin, Chi-Chi, Bulma, Tights, and Launch as her family. She had no feelings for this newly appeared sibling.
"And you're a Saiyan too?" Raditz turned his gaze to Yuujin, frowning.
"That's right, I'm also a Saiyan," Yuujin nodded. "On Planet Vegeta, my name was Sirus..."
Yuujin thought that since Raditz was Goku's brother, his "brother-in-law," he'd be polite as long as things stayed civil.
"Sirus?"
"So you're that Saiyan disgrace, the one who fled here with Kakarot?"
Recalling certain things about Yuujin, Raditz's tone was filled with disdain.
"Yes, that's me," Yuujin said, his gaze growing cold.
Though long past the age of brashness, he felt a bit uneasy as Raditz's remarks resurfaced some unpleasant memories.
"Yuujin isn't a disgrace!"
"You jerk, apologize to Yuujin!" Goku, upset by Raditz's insults, scolded him.
"Kakarot, is that how you speak to your brother?" Raditz sneered. "You don't even have a tail, and you're pathetically weak. How are you anything but a disgrace to us Saiyans?"
Raditz activated his scouter to check their power levels.
The numbers jumped around before showing Yuujin at 5,000 and Goku at 5,500.
"Tsk, I keep forgetting this thing's busted," Raditz said, clearly doubting the readings.
He dismissed it, convinced that Sirus and his sister—known for having low potential—couldn't possibly be this powerful.
Raditz's mocking expression irked Goku, but just as she was about to retort, Yuujin stopped her.
"Calm down, Goku. Don't let his words bother you."
After soothing Goku, Yuujin turned to Raditz.
"Raditz, why are you here on Earth? Don't tell me you came just to visit."
