章節 17: The Final Battle

In the blink of an eye, the Dred vanished and appeared before Elion, its hand transforming instantly into a sword, swinging toward Elion's neck at an extraordinary speed.

Elion, prepared for the attack, raised his arm, effortlessly deflecting it. Without hesitation, he launched a straight punch aimed at the Dred's stomach.

"You think a punch like that will affect me?" The Dred sneered mockingly, stepping back to dodge Elion's strike.

However, Elion chuckled softly, unfazed by the Dred's mockery. As his punch sliced through the air in front of the Dred, the surrounding atmosphere began swirling violently like a tornado.

"What?!"

BOOM!

A massive explosion echoed as the punch ignited the air, sending Dred flying hundreds of kilometers away. The blast split the ocean, creating enormous tsunami waves.

Elion narrowed his eyes, watching as the Dred's body bounced across the ocean surface before finally sinking.

"Phew… it flew quite far," he said with an amused smile, standing at the beach's edge.

But the moment was brief. A spatial tear appeared behind him, and enormous tentacles burst out, racing toward Elion with terrifying speed.

"Ugh, disgusting shit," Elion muttered as he faced the giant black tentacles, quickly drawing his sword and swinging it at speeds beyond light.

SLASH!

In an instant, the massive tentacles were sliced into atom-sized pieces, disappearing into the sea breeze.

"Okay." The Dred emerged from the spatial tear, walking calmly. "I admit, I underestimated you. Who would've thought the kid who got peed on would become this strong?"

Elion's face hardened, his veins pulsing with restrained anger. "This bastard…"

With a deep breath, he calmed himself. He had nearly forgotten how skilled that damn Dred was at provoking him.

After that, moving with lightning speed, Elion vanished from Dred's sight, appearing midair and launching a spinning kick at its head.

The Dred, prepared this time, raised an arm to block. But the impact of the kick felt like the weight of the entire Earth. The Dred realized Elion's strength had surpassed normal limits.

"What is this?" The Dred began to panic as it stumbled, falling to its knees.

"Didn't see that coming, huh?" Elion taunted, pressing down with his kick.

The ground beneath the Dred split with a deafening boom. Despite its ability to float, the Dred couldn't hold itself up and crashed to the ground. Enraged, it grabbed Elion's ankle and hurled him into the sky.

But Elion quickly activated his [Levitas] skill, stopping himself midair. He hovered effortlessly, as if nothing had happened.

"Take this," he muttered, gathering energy. Leaning forward, Elion unleashed Dragon's Breath.

Blue flames burst out with immense force toward the Dred, boiling the sea and sending steam into the air as nearby islands cracked under the heat.

Yet before the flames could hit, the Dred vanished, like a shadow whisked away by wind, reappearing only meters in front of Elion, ready to continue the fight.

"This is getting interesting," the Dred said in a low, excited tone.

Elion chuckled, adrenaline pumping, his shoulders shaking with excitement. He'd waited a thousand years for this moment. No fear lingered in his eyes—only thrill.

After a thousand years of solitude, facing Dred again filled a void in him. Oddly, he felt grateful for its return.

"You better make it worth the wait," he grinned, bracing himself midair.

A sinister smile spread across Dred's shapeless face, and in an instant, they surged forward, moving so fast that no human eye could track them. Their punches collided, sending a shockwave that tore through the ocean and forests around them.

BOOM!

Amidst the blast, Elion's eyes opened wide as he saw Dred grinning back. Another surge of excitement filled him. Perhaps all he'd needed was someone to end his loneliness—friend or foe.

"Haha!" Elion laughed.

Without wasting a moment, he seized Dred's wrist and hurled it with all his strength. Dred shot across the landscape, crashing through a volcano, triggering an eruption that spewed lava, setting the forests ablaze.

Dred landed far away, unscathed by the lava surrounding it. Realizing how far it had been thrown, Dred opened a rift to return. But before it could, it looked up in alarm.

In the distance, Elion was speeding toward it with lightning speed, grinning. He closed the gap before Dred could evade, landing a powerful kick to Dred's face. Black blood spurted as it crashed back into the lava, creating a crater below.

Dred continued to fall, plunging deep into the earth until it felt the core's intense heat beneath it. Just before touching it, Dred snapped its fingers, opening a rift and reappearing in the sky, steadying itself midair.

"I knew you'd do that." Elion let out a small laugh as he watched the Dred struggling to steady itself in midair.

Without giving the Dred a chance to react, Elion swiftly raised his hand and activated the [Creation] skill. As his Imagination Points were deducted from his status, particles of energy began swirling in the air, circling around the Dred and coalescing into a colossal cube the size of a mountain, formed from a mysterious material, trapping the Dred inside.

[You have successfully created a cube with a special effect.]

[10 Million Imagination Points have been deducted.]

With molten lava pooling around his feet, Elion glanced at the system message, and a small smile appeared on his face.

"What is this?" The Dred muttered as its vision darkened inside the cube Elion had created. A moment later, a single, endless white line stretched before its eyes.

The Dred tried to move left and right but found it couldn't. It can only move forward or backward. Though confused, it laughed, thinking this must be one of Elion's tricks, something he'd been preparing for a thousand years.

Of course, it thought a prison like this was no match; it could simply rip through space and escape. "What a cheap trick. You really think something like this could hold me? Are you stupid?"

The Dred chuckled, flicked its fingers, and prepared to tear through space. But as it stepped through the spatial tear, it reappeared only a few meters from where it had stood before, still trapped along that same endless line.

"W-What?" Panic began to creep into the Dred's mind as it realized the gravity of the situation.

What the Dred didn't know was the special effect of the cube itself—to neutralize spatial movement. How? The cube existed in a one-dimensional space, restricting it to moving only forward or backward. Unless that Dred could create a spatial tear to a higher-dimensional place, it was completely trapped.

Meanwhile, outside, Elion watched the massive black cube floating in the sky with a sly expression.

"Ha! I wonder what it looks like right now—probably completely lost," Elion said playfully, a smirk forming on his face.

[Of course it is. If you were in there, you wouldn't be getting out easily either,] the system replied mockingly.

This trap had been a part of Elion's meticulous preparation during his training. Every day, he had racked his brain, devising countless strategies to defeat the Dred—and the system was well aware of this.

"Yeah, but this cube still isn't enough to kill it. Plus, it cost way too many Imagination Points." His small smile turned into a wicked grin. "Which means it's time to try something else."

Elion focused his mind once more and activated the [Creation] skill again. Inside the cube, particles of energy from his Imagination Points began transforming into millions of modern weapons, all aimed directly at the Dred.

[You have successfully created 5 million weapons.]

[10 Million Imagination Points have been deducted.]

While the system message flashing before Elion's eyes, on the other side, the Dred that was still struggling to tear through the spatial fabric, looked up in shock to see five million deadly weapons pointed on it.

From AK-47s, M134 Miniguns, Barrett M82s, HK416s, AA-12 shotguns, Uzis, bazookas, grenades, to nuclear bombs—every modern weapon that had ever existed was there.

For a moment, the Dred's expression turned grim, cold sweat beading down its body. But then it managed an ironic smile and whispered, "You got me this time, Elion."

Looking up, Elion pointed his hand at the massive cube, forming his fingers into the shape of a gun, and said in a low, chilly voice, "Bang!"

That single word triggered every single firearm, unleashing a relentless barrage of bullets and explosives inside the cube, all targeting Dred at once.

And as every bullet and bomb struck the Dred's body...

BOOM!
