章節 61: C 61

"Hogwarts? I've never heard of this school. Is it a new way to deceive people? Ignore it, Hermione; let's eat first."

After Mr. Granger read the invitation letter from Hogwarts, he was completely puzzled by its content. The famous schools in London did not include a name like Hogwarts, so he thought it might be a lie. Tomorrow, he planned to inquire around the community to see if any strangers had come nearby.

However, Kain was looking forward to the next developments. Once the Grangers accepted the situation, he hoped to find an opportunity to make a request to see the wizarding world.

Once he found a way in, Kain could establish business dealings with wizards. Potions, alchemical items, and various magical artifacts excited him. The mere thought of these magical goods ignited his desire to trade, and if it were possible, he would have spent all the gold he had brought with him.

The cells of those magical creatures alone held immense value for him. If the research went well, he believed that the common people in the Marvel world could acquire some abilities from magical creatures.

Dragons, phoenixes, and other mythical beings could potentially be sources of extraordinary power, although obtaining these abilities would be challenging. Still, the prospect offered hope.

"It's not a trick, Mr. Granger."

Suddenly, a void appeared in the house, and then a tall, thin wizard materialized in the living room. Though she appeared old, she stood upright in a medieval wizarding costume, exuding an air of aristocracy.

"Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has been established for a thousand years and has trained many outstanding wizards for the wizarding world. Hermione Granger is a natural wizard, which is why she received an invitation to Hogwarts. In the past, there should have been several unusual occurrences regarding Miss Granger."

After briefly introducing herself and Hogwarts, Professor McGonagall took out her wand. With a flick, she transformed a piece of furniture into several puppies, which pranced around the Granger couple, only to be turned back into a sofa moments later.

"Oh, cool!"

The Grangers were awestruck by the transfiguration. It was their first encounter with such magical abilities, and through Professor McGonagall's words, they began to recall strange incidents involving Hermione from her childhood.

"Ms. McGonagall, are you saying my daughter is a wizard?" Mr. Granger asked, still in disbelief.

"Yes, Mr. Granger. Hogwarts can help Miss Granger control the magic within her so that she will not experience the magical outbursts that occurred when she was eight."

Even Hermione's peculiar behavior as a child was brought to light. Now, the Grangers were beginning to trust Professor McGonagall's words, but they had reservations about the idea of their daughter going to a magical school.

The Grangers turned to Hermione for her opinion. Their daughter, who had always exhibited intelligence beyond her years, was understandably curious and excited.

"Can I go to the magic school? Are there wizards and magical creatures like in fairy tales?" Hermione asked eagerly.

"Of course! Hogwarts is exclusively for wizards, and all students there are young wizards like you," Professor McGonagall replied.

After hearing these words, Hermione Granger couldn't contain her excitement. She turned to her parents and exclaimed, "Dad, Mom, I've decided! I'm going to Hogwarts!"

The Grangers took a moment to discuss it among themselves before agreeing to Hermione's request. "Okay, but Professor McGonagall, can we visit Hermione at Hogwarts?" Mr. Granger asked.

"In principle, Muggles are not welcome in the wizarding world, as it can be dangerous for them to enter without guidance. However, Hogwarts' holiday schedule aligns with that of other schools, allowing Hermione to return home during winter and summer vacations," Professor McGonagall explained.

Seeing the Grangers still looked a bit confused, she added, "Muggles are common people who do not know about magic, but they can still use messengers to communicate during school."

The Grangers nodded in understanding and continued to ask questions about Hogwarts and the wizarding world. For them, it was a completely new realm, and Kain listened intently.

Although he was already familiar with much of the information, it was fascinating to hear it from Professor McGonagall herself.

"Then, tomorrow at ten o'clock in the morning, I will lead the new students to purchase the necessary supplies listed in the notice. The Grangers are welcome to accompany us on this first trip," she added.

After saying this, Professor McGonagall nodded slightly to the Grangers and then used Apparition to vanish from the room.

"Oh, it's hard to believe that my daughter is a wizard," Mr. Granger said, still trying to wrap his head around the revelation.

After Professor McGonagall left, the Granger family buzzed with excitement and happiness until they noticed Kain sitting quietly nearby.

"Excuse me, Mr. Pent, we just—"

"I understand, Mr. Granger. To be honest, I was equally shocked when I saw the sofa transform into a puppy just now. The legendary wizards truly exist among us," Kain replied, pretending to be amazed while smiling with a hint of embarrassment.

"Mr. Granger, although I made such a request not long after we met, I felt compelled to ask. Now that I've witnessed such magic, I believe that if I miss this opportunity, I will deeply regret it. May I experience the wizarding world with Miss Granger tomorrow?"

The Grangers exchanged glances, unsure of how to respond, then looked to Hermione for her thoughts.

Hermione, feeling encouraged, spoke up, "Dad, I think it's fine! He just wants to see the wizarding world, and since he was invited to dinner, I'm sure he'll be with us."

Once Hermione gave her approval, the Grangers nodded in agreement. Kain thanked them profusely and made plans to meet them the following morning.

Afterward, they enjoyed a delightful dinner together. For the Granger family, not only had the equipment issue for their clinic been resolved, but they were also excited about their daughter's newfound identity as a wizard. It was a time for celebration.

The Next Morning

Kain arrived at the Granger's home five minutes before the appointed time set by Professor McGonagall.

When Professor McGonagall arrived, Hermione rushed forward to introduce Kain.

Professor McGonagall paid little mind to the presence of another Muggle in the wizarding world, knowing that such an opportunity was rare. Without the guidance of a wizard, it would be impossible for Muggles to access the wizarding world, given that there were spells to repel them at every intersection leading to it.

Moreover, the Ministry of Magic had personnel dedicated to erasing memories. If any Muggles attempted to investigate the magical world, they would attract the attention of these officials.

Under Professor McGonagall's guidance, they soon reached the Leaky Cauldron.

"Go in from here, bypass the bar, and you'll find yourself on the way to Diagon Alley, where Miss Granger can purchase all the school supplies listed in the notice," she instructed.

As they made their way to the small patio behind the Leaky Cauldron, Professor McGonagall demonstrated how to access the magical world by knocking three times on a specific set of bricks in the wall. The bricks rotated and opened a passageway into the wizarding realm.

"Welcome to Diagon Alley," she announced.
