KIERAN
The past few weeks passed in a blur. My days were a constant stream of doing the same thing over and over again.
I spent most of my time at work, taking on more than I usually do.
And whenever I wasn't at work, Charlotte was either dragging me to the family house to spend time with all of them, choosing to spend time with me in my own house, or just being basically nosy.
Archie was a part of this menace too. Both of them lingered around me, scared that I would do something terrible.
But they were wrong. Those days of overreacting, of pushing everyone away when things got hard for me, those days were over.
And while I was still feeling numb about the whole situation of Edwina being engaged to someone else, I hardly thought about it.
What energy would I have left to think, when work — my nosy sister and my nosy best friend in addition — took all of my strength?
