KIERAN
I arrived home to find Amelia admiring herself before the massive bedroom mirror, decked in one of her flimsy dresses and heady perfume.
Her eyes widened slightly at my abrupt arrival. From the look on her face, it was obvious that she wasn't expecting me to be back anytime soon.
"Hey boo. Pretty early for you to be home," she purred as she took me in, and my jaw clenched with displeasure.
"There's leftover pizza in the microwave, you can have that for dinner or order a new one if you want. I'm on my way out. My girls are taking me out to chill," she said as she applied finishing touches on her makeup.
I stalked towards her, anger sobering me up as her words settled around me.
"Have you forgotten?" I asked, trying to keep calm.
Amelia raised her eyebrows at me.
"Forgotten what?"
"We are going to my parent's anniversary dinner," I snapped.
She rolled her eyes.
